You know, this sounds awfully similar to when JFK ran for president as a Catholic in 1960. Every other president before him had been a Protestant or deist.
Protestants were up in arms over it:
"He's not a REAL Christian!"
"He'll make us pray to the Virgin Mary!"
"He'll be clutching rosary beads at state meetings!"
"He'll be a Vatican puppet!"
etc.
It turned out that he was at worst an average president and one of the most beloved public figures of the 20th century.
I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. Besides, if Mormons did practice polygamy, then what would be more interesting: Romney going to state dinners, arm in arm in arm in arm, or hearing about him playing with an intern after the fact?

Lets put it this way. If you were to catch wind that the guy down the street from you was plotting to break into your house and steal your brand new tv, would you not get prepared to fend him off? I'm not saying war is the answer, but being a vag and letting that person take your tv with out even being prepared is plain foolishness. So in the case of Iran, we are learning that they have advances in nuclear technology. We should not turn a blind eye to it an hope that it goes away. At the very least we need to prepare ourselves as a country for what may come. I can only hope, that whoever is elected president will take the initiative to snuff out any threat to our country or our allies. I do not think that Romney will take one step into the oval office and immediately declare war, thats assinine. However, if he feels that it is neccessary to take some sort of military action in order to prevent a bigger attack down the road, I would back him 100%.

You're an idiot. Mitt Romney is an extremely bright man with incredible credentials. You will never even come close to accomplishing in your life time what he has in his. I mean unless you graduated Valedictorian from your University, graduated in the top 5% at Harvard with a split business and law degree, was CEO of a major company and helped to save the olympics. But I mean if you have, just let me know and I'll vote for you for president.

You have no idea how sorry you look posting this question. It displays ignorance, disrespect, and misinformation on a grand scale.
I'm LDS. I pay my taxes, am a social worker, am happily married to a schoolteacher for almost ten years now, have two beautiful children who excel in school, we go to church every Sunday, make an effort to serve others, honor our parents, enjoy sports, celebrate birthdays and holidays, and love God. Where's the problem? Time for you to learn tolerance.

You seem very misinformed. Mitt Romney has only one wife and does it really matter what kind of underwear a person wears to be president? That sounds a tad bit prejudicial to have such underwear concerns.

LOL - I just love it when I see deep thinkers that would choose the future leadership of our country based on such vital, important issues that effect us all - such as their underwear.
So what is the most vote-able undie situation for president? (I must assume you're looking into all of the candidates skivies of choice if it matters to you so much). Boxers or briefs? What about our lady candidate? Should she be wearing a sports bra? or a wonder bra?
What a joke.

I think you know he doesn't have 3 wives, maybe your mommy needs to keep you away from the computer until you learn to count.

I know what you mean, brother. That ad about him denouncing pornography on the web for the kids of America probably agrivates you as bad as it does me. The only difference between me and you is that I don't spend hours upon end, jobless in my parents' basement looking @ it!

Romney has one wife.
Why single out one person because of what his beliefs are? Would you like for someone to do that to you?

Romney's chances are not good. He won't satisfy the Bible Belt Christians, so is unlikely to get nominated. He won't satisfy the liberals, so is unlikely to get elected.
