For a leather Duty belt I usually go with Safariland But I mostly wear nylon, Bianchi and Blackhawk are very good and look good for quite a while.

Footwear-well, the best winter boots I got were a pair Hermann Survivors at Wal-mart. I still have them three years ago and they still hold up. Other than that, I usually buy Altama Boots or Hi-Tecs.

I used Safariland leather gear for years. For foot wear, I like either Bates or Rocky Boots.

For nylon gear, Uncle Mike is hard to beat. They even make a pretty decent security holster. Nylon gear is lighter and cheaper than leather.

Safari Land is by far the best leather gear you can but.

As far as footwear. I used to but Rocky Boots, But have recently Switched to 5.11 Tactical Gear and am Very pleased with the 5.11 Boots as well as duty gear!

I really like the Converse work boot, it is really light and very comfortable. From what I understand the branding on leather gear really doesn't matter as it is all made in the same place.
