not judgemental?
I highly doubt I'll ever get a best answer from him... because I always answer with something showing and stating that I am not judgemental... or snooty like SOME Mormons who give us a bad name....
Cheese man.. feel free to answer too... why is it so hard to believe that some of us are NOT judgemental *******

Funny you can say Mormons are non judgemental, but when you leave the church, you find that all of a sudden your non-judgemental Mormon friends don't want anything to do with you and its as if you don't even exist. What you come to realize is that they were either 'assigned friends', 'friends with agendas', or just 'too good for any non-mo'.
Edit. Oh actually I don't have a lot of time, but this thing is addictive and I waste too much time. I blocked Y!A with our firewall at work so I could get something done in the 1/2 day that I'm there.
Edit #2: I'm not sure, but did Love yahoo just call me a "Legend?"

Cheese and Rice.... that guy is an anti-Mormonism in a sarcastic way legend. I think that he doesn't do these questions seriously, it's just to see our reaction and I think that he enjoys it when we answer madly. He is just a dude with a lot of free time in his hands. I don't think he looks for serious answers when he asks these things. Sometimes I do give him serious answers, but most of the time I just return his sarcasm. I don't get any best answer from him neither and I answer most of his questions.

I am frequently a fairly harsh critic of LDS theology, but never of the people who are LDS... the people are generally very nice, and I've never been reported for an answer to an LDS question, unlike other faiths...
Mormons never tell me I'm going to hell, either... no matter how much I critique...
Edit: All of my LDS family and friends treat me no differently than when I had a temple recommend... I still go on Ward ATV trips with my sister (in Utah), AND I smoke and add brandy to my soda in the evenings... even though I am outspoken in my views with them.

I think the hardest part about being mormon is trying to hide my horns when non-believers are around, i love going to church where I can just let my horns have some fresh air! i think C & R was a mormon and just wants to retaliate because he thinks the church ruined his younger days.

I think Cheese just enjoys antagonizing us. I think he likes to get a rise out of us, and sadly most times it works. Maybe we all need to just lighten up. Really he is a legend at what he does.
But he is not alone. Rev. Kip and Norris Penguin are right up there with him. Although I haven't seen Kip for a while.

I am not sure and cannot comment of what Cheese and Rice thinks. But I would hope that he and anyone else would be as tolerant of Mormons and as non judgmental of them as much as they themselves think some Mormons are not.

Actually I found the opposite to be true. But you have to realize, there is miles seperating my old ward and myself. My ward was snooty and holier then thou, they never excepted me, a shy person, they were so surprised (and so was I) when I became popular and got a boyfriend. the guys had called me names for years and the girls had either stared at me or ignored me like I didn't exist, the older ward members just thought they had already attained godhood, now in there favor, they were stressed out.
When I came back to my Mom's funeral, they were all so nice and it was so good to see them all, even my old friend who had abandoned me, when I left the church, she talked to me, my mom's young Bishop, was hard to analize, he was acting strange at the veiwing, maybe I was smiling too much and he thought I should be crying, (he was really stern and seemed angrey, he was making his sweet wife nervous) or I was a nonmormon out of place, a christian, and I made his nervous. I really liked being back home in UT. If they had anything bad to say to me, they did it behind my back.

Everyone in this forum wants to pigeonhole people into a stereotype. Muslims can't be moderate, scientists can't be religious, etc. etc. It just gets tiring.
