it depends which bible your reading it from some later editions of the king james version doesnt have it --(shouldnt add to or take away eh???) the older king james version do have it-- in several places because its closer to the original version from kj back in the 1600's, which was very hard to read compared to the one today that we read, according to one person i know that looked at an (original kjv)one in canada usa. but in the king james study bible by Macmillan has it in these places

Exodus 6:3 and I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob by the name of GOD Almighty, but, by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.
and of coarse Psalms 83:18 JEHOVAH
and also i found it in
Isaiah 26:4 Trust ye in the LORD forever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength. translated into english.
i saw it in one other place but cant find it at the moment but makes you wonder if the whole bible is suppose to be about God shouldnt it have his name in it?the original hebrew & aramaic text did.. which is why if i dont see it in there i dont use that particular bible DONT ADD TO DONT TAKE AWAY...........

Interesting that asking a question and citing scriptures are viewed as an effort to deceive.
According to the Bible the true God is to us but one, the Father and creator of all things.
According to the Bible, his name is Jehovah.

Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Hebrews 1:5 For to which of the angels did God ever say, "You are my Son, today I have begotten you"? Or again, "I will be to him a father, and he shall be to me a son"? 6 And again, when he brings the firstborn into the world, he says, "Let all God's angels worship him." 7 Of the angels he says, "He makes his angels winds, and his ministers a flame of fire."

8 But of the Son he says, "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever, the scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your kingdom. 9 You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness beyond your companions." 10 And, "You, Lord, laid the foundation of the earth in the beginning, and the heavens are the work of your hands; 11 they will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment, 12 like a robe you will roll them up, like a garment they will be changed. But you are the same, and your years will have no end." 13 And to which of the angels has he ever said, "Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet"? 14 Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation?

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Revelation 4:11 "Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created."

John 10:30 I and the Father are one."

John 14:1 "Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.

John 14:9 Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'? 10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works. 11 Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me, or else believe on account of the works themselves.

John 5:22 The Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son, 23 that all may honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.

Jude 1:9 But when the archangel Michael, contending with the devil, was disputing about the body of Moses, he did not presume to pronounce a blasphemous judgment, but said, "The Lord rebuke you."

John 8:43 Why do you not understand what I say? It is because you cannot bear to hear my word. 44 You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

Once again another JW trying to deceive.

For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as there are many gods and many lords), yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live. 1 Cor. 8:5-6

“ You are worthy, O Lord,
To receive glory and honor and power;
For You created all things,
And by Your will they exist and were created.” Rev. 4:11

Moreover God said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations.’ Ex. 3:15

That they may know that You, whose name alone is the LORD,
Are the Most High over all the earth. Ps. 83:18

Looks to me like the True God is Jesus.

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. Col. 1:15-18

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14

God became flesh? That's Jesus.

In the beginning was Jesus, and Jesus was with God, and Jesus was God.

For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Col. 2:9

I and My Father are one. John 10:30

For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. 1 John 5:7

Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM." John 8:58

To see what else they lie about check out my sources. By the way the JW's had to alter Scripture to insert the name Jehovah.

You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you. Deut. 4:2
