You know what I just thought of on Sunday when I was watching his interview after the Brickyard 400? You know how people are always making fun of NASCAR fans and drivers because you can't understand a thing that they are saying during interviews, yet the fans understand them completely. Well the funny thing is, while listening to Montoya's interview it came to mind, that this guy is like a mix between the hardest driver to understand and trying to make an order in the drive through at Taco Bell. I swear I'm not racist, but with his accent and everything, I swear I crack up every time I think of that interview LOL!!! What do you guys think?

You're 100% ccorrect. I have taken two years of Spanish, and I think I would understand him better if he actually was talking in Spanish. lol All I hear in his interviews is " ches wey ha a goood teco havlin carr" and its like what? I am not racist or anything, but sometimes it is like "Are you even opening your mouth when you speak? C'mon" ^_^ Can you imagine when Dale Jr is trying to listen to him? It must be priceless...

Yeah, he is hard to understand. So is Ward Burton and Junior about half the time.
Accents are cool, though- living out in the accent-free West, I don't get enough.
It is kinda funny. Makes me think of a late NBA player named Drazen Petrovic. He was from Eastern Europe and was funny as hell when he tried to talk smack "In face of yours, Mr. Hots Stuffing."!
I can imagine JP cussing out drivers in Espagnol during the race. Aye Caramba!

Whenever Montoya is talking on the TV I always push the caption button on the remote, so I can understand what he is saying.

If you think Juan Pablo is the hardest driver to understand when he talks, you have never watched formula one LOL.

How do we know he didn't say something detrimental to the sport of stock car racing? Better fine him and take away some points just in case!! (I'm kidding)

True, but he has a good reason to be hard to understand. What is Ward Burton's excuse?

I think that no matter what he says, He is paid to drive.
He is good at driving. He is not good at interviewing.
He should drive and keep his mouth closed.
Unless he has something important to say, then, definitely he should communicate it, in writing !

You should hear him talk in the garage. It's about 10 times worse because when he is on camera he is trying so hard.
