I have always had issues being open with my emotions. It took my 16 years to tell my parents I love them.

Here recentally my boyfriend has been expressing his feelings to me in a lovy dovy way. I.E."I feel like we are the only two people in the world. When I stare into your eyes, nothing else matters," I want to be able to do that. I feel the same things about him, but I can't voacalize it. Can you help me? What can I say to him and what can I do?

He loves me, I know this. I love him, he knows that.

We've been together for around 1 year.

And no, he's not faking it. He really is that emotional and loving and caring when it comes to me. Those words are how he expresses what he means.

Tell him - I feel many wonderful things inside, but I can't put it into words.

Or, draw a picture - if my thoughts were a color, it would be the orange glow of a sunset, if my thoughts were a smell, it would be of the sweet cotton candy at the fair - if it were a movie, it would be "the muppet" movie - sometimes by trying to explain in terms of your senses you can wrap the words around your feelings.

Well hopefully you're not looking for some lines to recite.
The best thing you can do is allow yourself to "feel him" emotionally....and then say what you're feeling.
Though, I'd be careful about the L word, it changes everything.
For me. I'd rather see sensual adoration in his eyes than hear some cheesy lines....
best wishes :)

I would say to just let go. If you are into him, tell him what you are feeling, does he make you happy? Tell him so. Does time go by really fast when your with him? Ect.

dont force it --- if you do it will sound artificial --- if he does not already know --- tell him --- then by your actions and body language let him know how you feel --- no im not talking sex --- its just about touching and holding --- looking at him ---- there are so many ways to show him you care ---- best wishes

i would burst out laughing if someone dropped a melodramatic line like that on me... you need to date someone like me who won't put you in a position where you feel pressed to say something that makes you uncomfortable.

Just let your emotion out, and whatever you feel want to tell him, and just say it, don't hide!
