I found an old box of photos in our house and they are pics from anywhere between 1920-1940. They have National Parks and A LOT of stuff from New Orleans. They are in perfect shape, old beautiful photos.
I am a single mom, any help would be great!!
Thanks!!

Sell them on ebay. No joke. Big market for old photos, I kid you not.

I operate a consignment shop where I sell other people's stuff on eBay, either because they don't know how or, most often, they're too busy or don't want the hassle. So I completely agree with those who have said eBay.

I'm what's called a Trading Assistant. And that's what you need if you don't know how or want to sell your photos yourself. You can find a Trading Assistant in your area through this link on eBay: http://tradingassistant.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?TradingAssistant&page=main

It has been my experience that eBay will almost always bring your more money than other selling methods unless you happen to know that one collector who would pay premium prices to have your collection. And that blanket statement has a few exceptions but not, I think, for your photos.

Ebay is a great site. Depending on how significant the pictures are you could get anything from $100-$1500.
But i would first suggest taking it to a collector to estimate its value before you list it on ebay.
