How very subjective, perhaps Imagine is a sort of religious song? Doesn't "imagine no religion", etc, impy religiousity?
How about Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 in D minor, Op. 125 "Choral", Molto Vivace.
I pick that casue all the other songs I can think of are religious-y.

lol You do know that Imagine started out as a religious song, right? But that's okay, enough big stars have done it to make it mainstream-ish.
I love that one, also that one by Garth Brooks, ummm, "I will sail my vessel, till the river runs dry ..." is that one called "The River"? I forget, but that one makes me cry.
Oh, and I can't listen to "Alyssa Lies", I'll cry for sure.

"Swept Away" by Christopher Cross. The reasoning behind this, is that I attribute this song to the eight, very short years that my husband and I had our first child-dog, Shorty. This song is my heart and soul singing, crying and telling her story.

OOOh, imagine is a good one. I'd have to say it's whitelion's "When the children cry" Seventh day slumber redid it, and it's kinda sweet. But i think imagine is my number one, now that you've mentioned it.

The Beatles (Lennon/McCartney) Let it Be
When I find myself in times of trouble
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
And in my hour of darkness
She is standing right in front of me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
Let it be, let it be.
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be.
And when the broken hearted people
Living in the world agree,
There will be an answer, let it be.
For though they may be parted there is
Still a chance that they will see
There will be an answer, let it be.
Let it be, let it be. Yeah
There will be an answer, let it be.
And when the night is cloudy,
There is still a light that shines on me,
Shine on until tomorrow, let it be.
I wake up to the sound of music
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
Let it be, let it be.
There will be an answer, let it be.
Let it be, let it be,
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be
Love & Blessings
Milly
