no matter what you do.... keeping busy, friends, alcohol, chocolate, ice cream... anything, you'll still think about him. Yes, keeping busy will temporarily keep your mind off of him, but at the end of the day u'll still think about him. I'm not trying to be a downer but I've been through this and I hated when people told me to try not to think about it or to keep busy because it was all just short-term. There is no cure for a broken heart... time will heal it but there will be a scar forever. I guess the only advice I can give you is to let it all out... don't hold it all in, just cry... and don't be sad because it's over, be happy because it happened. Some people would kill to have the memories you have.

Well you gotta give yourself some time to feel bad-good comes with the bad. But be nice to yourself take a bubble bath while eating a huge ice cream Sunday. Call your friends to go out and window shop and to have lunch. Exercise helps to makes you fell better and is a good distraction. Keep in mind we have all been there and in time it gets better besides it just puts you that much closer to finding your soul mate!

I am in the same situation. I went online and order the books" He 's Just Not that Into you" and "Lose that Loser". I had to tell myself that I am worth so much more. I also got the book,"What does the Bible say about A to Z" It help me to reference the bible about everyday situation. I finally got fed up. I am going to continue with what I am doing. I also stop half stepping. I can't put on a pretty dress and wear flip flops. I have to complete the outfit. Stop giving others the chance to criticize. I had to stop with the self-defeating attitude.

Stop counting on men to make you feel good. If your no longer together, they werent worth it in the first place. Every wound heals in time. The next guy may be the best thing ever, just gotta pick it up and turn on the lights tommorrow and see its a new day.

I've gone through something really bad BUT I'm going into detail. WHATEVER you do dont eat to solve your problems That happened to my friend and she got obese. Try going out with a friend that you trust and taking you mind off of it.

You are grieving. Grief is a process. You should learn as much as you can about it. There is grief counseling too. No way to hurry it up, it just has it's process, but if you understand it more, it may not be as bad. Knowledge is the best weapon.

Please girls, don't get all sappy over a guy. Enjoy your life, friends and family. Too many of you focus your whole life on relationships. Theres more to life than just that. Spend time with friends and be happy not sappy.
