It can't hurt you! What's the worst that can happen?

Jesus commanded us to go and make disciples of all people. That was his last command before his ascension.

If everybody were a Christian, then there would be no one left to convert, and we would not be able to obey Jesus' final order.

Why can't everyone be a muslim?

What can't everyone be a hindu?

What can't everyone be a pagan?

What can't everyone be an atheist?

None of these can hurt you. What's the worst that can happen?

I'll tell you want I think is the worst that can happen. People can choose to believe what their parent generation believed even though there is objective evidence that what their parent generation believed is wrong.

I would imagine that people of other religions ask themselves the same question. For example, why can't everyone be Jewish/Buddhist/Islamic/Hindu/Pagan etc. Just because you believe a certain religion doesn't mean that it is the "right" religion. If you want to be religious that is great, I think it is a good thing for people to have something that guides their lives. However, I don't think that you should force your beliefs on anyone else.

A catholic, an Orthodox, maybe one of many Protestant denominatios?

A better question i why can't everyone be a good person, an honest person, a God loveing person?

Our Lord has given to us our free will to use to best of our abillities to get nearer to Him. He has also showed us many different way.....that is maybe why.

By the way, I am an Orthodox Christian.

Because humans are cynical.

If God made all the clouds in the sky morph into his face and talk to us, MOST non-believers would STILL NOT believe in God. They'd find some other way to explain it. Even if God came out and talked to them directly, they'd ignore it.

Some people are just born closed-minded like that.

The world would be a better place if more people were aware that God has been proven since the beginning of time, but like I said earlier, you can't make everyone believe. Some people are just too stubborn.

Everyone can be christian, i mean they have the choice. God gave us the choice, to make christianity more meaningfull. Some people just don't think that a heaven, and a loving Saviour are very appealing. There are however bad things that can happen to you. Being a Christian isn't easy! Trust me. You get made fun of, spit on, and all sorts of otehr things, but it is truly all worth it in the end to know that you will live with God in heaven one day! Idk why all people aren't Christian. Im all with you!

I was FORCED to go to church every damn sunday while I was a child, I hated it then and I hate it now. I cannot be spoon fed a lie about a guy and some sort of spirit. The only thing I believe, Jesus is just a guy that lives down the street.

Some people would rather have different beliefs just like some of us prefer a different branch of politics. It would be awesome if we all believed in the same thing but then that wouldn't really be life would it? Things would be too simple. Well goodluck with your answer! =]

Why can't everyone be Jewish, Islamic, Buddhist, an Atheist, or a scientologist? What's the worst that can happen? You could be tortured or killed by an anti-Christ. That was easy.

The worst that can happen is that you are murdered by anti-Christians and sent to some other religion's "hell".

I think thats a really biased and selfish question, and I'm Christian myself. Whats the point in religion if there is only one? Religion isn't just about spirituality, its also about individualism and faith.
