I bought seasons 1-6 of the Sopranos from China for a little over 100 US dollars (they are NOT pirated).. I was just curious about how much the customs fees would be? Has anyone bought DVDs from outside the US and been subject to customs fees and know how much it would be?

You overpaid. You can get them here in the US for less.

Coming from China, how do you KNOW that they are not pirated? FYI, over 95% of DVDs and software in China are pirated. I travel to China frequently on business and have yet to see a legitimate one except for software purchased through the vendor licensed re-sellers and even at that the only buyers are the Chinese branches of Western companies. When we buy a Chinese company, 100% of all of the software they are running is pirated. I have yet to see a genuine copy. One of my primary job functions is to get the operation legal. This requires that virtually every computer, server, router and switch have the OS reinstalled with legal copies.

A steak dinner says that they're pirated. I've made that bet dozens of times and have yet to pay on it yet.
