Usually these players have a parking brake connection that needs to go to the vehicle's parking brake switch wiring. It's not all that hard to do, if you know how to find the parking brake switch. After it's connected, read the owner's manual to find out if there's a brake-setting procedure to unlock the video. Most newer players require you to set, release and reset the brake, so you can't just ground the parking brake wire any more.

You Know.. there might actually be a reason why it says "cannot watch DVD while driving"... how would you like to be flying 80mph down the interstate and there's some dude behind you catching the latest season of Buffy The Vampire Slayer on DVD while going to work, and all of a sudden you have to slam on your brakes because of a pretty little deer jumping out in the road in front of you?? the guy behind you is deep into Buffy and has no idea what is going on and he eats everything from your doors back, all because he hillbilly-rigged his system so he could watch DVD's while driving.

Smart, Huh?

You can't play movies unless the vehicle is in park, its a safety thing.. you'll have to ground the wire thats in the back of the unit labeled "Park" ... it tricks the unit into thinkin you're stopped and the car is in park ..
