Hey guys, I want to get a tattoo on the back of my neck that symbolizes fate. This past year I kinda lost touch with my base religion and the only ideas that I truly believe in are the existence of some higher being, and that everything in life happens for a reason.

Anywhoo--so far I've come up with the celtic symbol of the three wyrd sisters (interlocked) (represents birth, life, and deathin the realm of fate) as well as the non-origin symbol of fate. I don't think I want a kanji symbol of fate---but I am open to any ideas. Thanks for your help!

I'm sorry but could find nothing really good on fate. But there is a Wiccan symbol that I relate to strongly. And I think it would make a powerful tattoo. Its called a Witch's Claw. Three intertwined crescent moons representing the three goddesses. A symbol of kinship and harmony within a circle of friends. And also a symbol for protection while remembering the three-fold rule. Have a look at it below.

I personally would go with "Always" as in Harry Potter is and always will be an important piece of who you are, and I would go with the top of your foot as far as placement goes because it is important that you can ,if you so choose, cover up the tattoo for a job interview or something formal like that. You never want to get a tattoo that could hold you back from your full potential in any way. Good Luck!

A lightening bolt? I'm not really sure about it, but I remeber reading this book when I was younger called the "Golden Compass" and in the book the girl had a truth device that she could ask questions, and the symbol for fate was a lightening bolt. Good Luck with your tattoo.
