I can't find where my calculator program is hidden on Microsoft XP. One day I went to use it and it was gone. How do I recover the calculator?

Click on Start > Control Panel > Add Remove Programs
then on the left, click on Add/Remove Windows Components.

Select Accesories and Utlities and click on "Deatils".

Select Accessories and click on "Details".

From there you will see a list and check mark whatever you want it back. If the Calculator is already checked, that means you still have your calculator. Then do as other people say, go to Run and run the executable.

it's either in C:\Windows or C:\Windows\system32

find it in there and right-click on it and drag to the desktop, in the little menu that pops up select "create shortcut here"

if you want to put the shortcut back where it goes navigate to C:\Docs and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories
and put it back in there
