IM sure the Doctor told you not to eat or drink anything for at least 12 hours before the procedure,and thats exactly what the meant.They want nothing in your stomache when doing the test to get the best results,also the dont want you vomiting during test,relax the test inst all that bad and you can hold off eating for that amount of time.

No, you will be sedated and they will be putting a camera/tube/etc down into your stomach. I believe I was on a 12 hour fast prior to endoscopy. You should have received instructions when it was scheduled.

Well, it would seem that you've already had the test.But, for future reference,nothing to eat or drink after midnight before the procedure, unless, the Doc says otherwise.

No, you should not have anything to eat or drink after midnight before the exam.... no breakfast, no liquids, no candy, nothing... Good Luck with the exam..

usally nothing after midnight.nothing not even water.call and ask if you dont know,check it out with your doctor.
