Go to find a toyger breeder and buy one from them. These are a DOMESTIC breed of cat that is the closest thing you will get to a tiger.

Tigers should not be purchased for pets, they should be out there in the wild.

I don't know, but I bet you could get some great advice from the guy near you with a pet "cugar".

As an aside I think tigers are Asian, not African.

illegal! illegal! unless you can prove that you will take care of it and obtain a permit to own a wild - domesticated animal, you cannot legally own a tiger. and did you read The Tiger Rising by Kate D'Camillo?
