38yrs ago we go into northern ireland for 12 days and we were their for 38 yrs.Many innocent people lost their lives.We go to the Falklands and job done very quickly over a couple of dozen sheep.We now find ourselves in Iraq its frightening but for how long.Maybe then we will try our luck in Iran.All this going on and we neglect what was a british country Zimbabwe and that beast of a dictator Mugarbe.Sounds all screwed up to me.what do you think.

I agree with you there, but these people will just not stop, there's not much we can do. Theres been loads and loads of protests even if the whole country protested it would still continue. What else can we do?

First of all the person who said that we need to become a communist state is insane. Communism in history has never worked (look at the Russians, it only worked when they were in war and after that it collapsed) because there is no incentive to produce. Capitalism doesn't suck. I would bet you money since China gets a good deal of it's food from the US more of it's people starve everyday than in America (the fattest country in the world). OK now to answer your question. We can't take on all the countries with dictators and tyrants at once. Our troops are already spread too thin and without the draft it will stay that way. Saddam Hussein was just the most prevalent and he was the most brutal at the time. The next country on the agenda if it happens would definitely be Iran. They are already pushing our buttons with claiming that their nuclear research is purely for residential use. We are not a country you push the buttons of easily. I do agree with the guy that said the start of it will have something to do with Israel. I think that we will go to war with Iran sometime around when we have Iraq stable enough to fend for itself. But give it time, like it has been throughout history the USA will be there to try and stop tyrants and dictators.

Historically speaking, being run by Britain has always ended up as being a good thing for those involved. Case in point, Canada was once a British colony as was USA. They seem to be doing well for themselves. About northern Ireland, compare the infrastructure of the Republic of Ireland versus Northern Ireland and tell me who has it better? Lastly, let's look at Hong Kong. Much of mainland China lives in abject poverty and misery. Hong Kong is a great modern city in every respect.. Keep up the good work Britain.
Edit -1) Your opening statement is not completely correct. Operation Motorman, launched in 1968 has ended. The British troops are leaving Northern Ireland.

Britain will only invade a country that has no real chance of fighting back eg china russia n korea or india.Like all bullies they prey on the weak like Iraq or iran

The Americans haven't told us to surrender w. them to Iraq yet and we only just had the victory parades 3 years ago. Zimbabwe has no oil of note.
The Scots are planning to give them all England's money as charity just as the great economic bubble our Chancellor created bursts, so unless it will help pay for his guilt forget it.

If Israel went to war with Iran I believe the US and UK would stay out of it. The US has too many bases in arabic countries and the UK needs the oil. We would actually have a strategic ally if the US and UK supported Palestine

North Korea are a big threat to peace so I would guess them. USA are the most dangerous and will use weopans far more readily though.
