what is your rank when you leave the military? how much are u making that time and why did u leave?

After 25 years. Entered as a Seaman Recruit, retired as a Lieutenant Commander.

The highest rank you obtained while serving on active duty. Retirement pay is based on the rank you obtain and how many years you served.

SPC - Army. I was making $1,122 base pay at the time. (That's no secret. Base pay is published by the DoD yearly.)
I left because Pres Clinton was promising to cut the military by half (which he did) and I figured I'd leave before I got RIF'd.

After 22 years I retired as a Chief Petty Officer.
