No. It's because people are awakening the truth that God is in us all and we don't need intermediaries (religious leaders).

From you statement, it is not hard to see you are not christian.

Christianity is on the decline. Yet, there is a multitude of religions who claim to be christian, but because they have corrupted the Word of God by replacing with the doctrines of men, most have strayed from the truth of God's Word by turning towards idoltry and paganism, which are things God hates.

So, Christianity is indeed on the decline. Part of the reason is we are entering the end of times. And it says one of the signs we are entering the end is the world will be like in the days of Noah. Men eat and drink and do their own things, disregarding the warning of God.

And in the days of Noah, evil was so widespread, that only eight were saved from the flood. The same is happening today. Evil is on the rise. Men have created God in the image they want to him to be and abandoned his Word for their own interpretations.

So as the world becomes more evil, many stray from God and that means less and less true believers.

It is written that very few will be saved. For their love of sin is greater then their love for God.

/applauds Shev!

You're right! People are realizing that there is a light inside of them that shines forever bright without the need of a priest or minister.

We have come to discover this new conciousness that reveals truth in a whole new light. We are not dependent on religious leaders or ways. We are NOT flocks of sheep for crying out loud!

We are beings created of light and love and we are learning to find our own way by helping each other. Not by being led by the hand with a blindfold on!

I'm not so sure Christianity is on the decline...but then, I think I have a different definition of "Christian" than the average joe-on-the0street.
However, if it isn't, it soon will be, it has already been prophesied that the beast will make war with the saints and overcome them.
Don't be surprised when you see this happening, and don't get all excited. It's not over yet....

Yes, christianity's god received blood and burnt offerings...

but the real reason christianity is on the decline
is that people are Creating Their Relationship with Our Creator and eliminating religion from Their Lives...

You can too!

Create Your Relationship with Our Creator

It is true, from my prospective, but you don't know anything of God. What a dumb question. God hasn't wanted that since before Christ died. Too bad for you, with your ignorance, you don't really want to know salvation, just seems you want to be seen on YA!
However, the decline is probably linked to the rise in demonic activities (as in angles kicked out of heaven, and now invading all of our lives). Some day, you too will wish you had listened to some of the Christians here, instead of trying to be funny. At that time, probably in a moment of extreme terror, or eminent death, it still will be okay for you to ask Jesus to forgive you, and accept him as your savior. Until then, you have been for warned: grow up, and learn something.

Depends on what churches you are looking at....
The Evanglical churches like Four Square are growing world wide.
The main stream Churches like, Methodist, Luthern .... are on the decline due to a watering down of the faith, allowing secular teachings into the churches. And in some cases even questioning the deity of Christ.

“The inspired utterance says definitely that in later periods of time some will fall away from the faith.”—1 Tim. 4:1.
Jesus warned his followers against apostates. In his Sermon on the Mount, he said: “Go in through the narrow gate; because broad and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are the ones going in through it; whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it. Be on the watch for the false prophets that come to you in sheep’s covering, but inside they are ravenous wolves. By their fruits you will recognize them.”—Matt. 7:13-16.

I think the decline directly correlates to the number of people who have incorrectly predicted the end of the world.

It's been an up and down experience since its existence. The problem is always the same one, which is the invasion of secularism. People are sheep and will always follow the crowd. At least the majority will.
