Probably not the answer you are looking for but here is a thought ... If fools rush in where angels fear to tread, could that be why God committed the gospel to mortals? (Think about it...)

a relationship. Fools will fall in love... well, infatuation for the most part, how often do you hear of romantic love stories nowadays, they do happen just not EVERYTIME which is why angels would be weary and hesitant.
