im 18. and still a virgin.every guy i tell that i am a virgin leaves me.they say the dont want a virgin.this is my generation.i've dated over 50 guys and all of them say the same thing.my question is .How do guys expect a girl not to be a virgin if there not willing to have sex with one.we have to start from somewhere.Im tired of WAITING and i DONT want to wait until im MARRIED so leave those answer out because i dont want to hear it.Guys say im beautiful but when i tell them im a virgin its like im the ugly beast.What can i do? other than the two things i said not to tell me.Should i not tell the next guy im a virgin and deal with it.

While most young guys want virgins (possibly because they can't accept that the guy before them might have performed better), most adult men don't want a virgin. You asked "why" so here are a few ideas on why many men won't sleep with a virgin:
* virgins tend to have very high expectations of what the first time will be like. It is rarely all that great. Most guys don't want the stress of her let-down.
* virgins often get overly attached to "the first guy". They then get clingy and emotional and dramatic. Most guys don't do drama well.
* virgins, by the nature of virginity - which is complete inexperience, don't usually perform very well in bed until they gain some experience. Most guys go after a pick-up hoping for mind-blowing performance and not sex lessons.
* as the virgin increases age, one has to wonder why she is still a virgin. The question becomes "if nobody else wanted to pop her, why should I want to?" or "if she's a virgin, what's wrong with her?" People tend to want what other people want and to not want what other people don't want.
* many guys have experienced a situation where they were led to believe that they were going to have sex only to have the virgin change her mind at the last minute. This is very frustrating to a guy.
These are just a few of the "why" to your question. Your solution can take a couple routes. You could simply not tell him until the moment it's too late to turn back. Many girls use that. You could also just be honest and address some of the concerns he may have (such as those above). Alternatively, you could get picked up (online or in a club) by someone intending only a one-night who wouldn't care about any of those issues.

In your case, since you are at least 18, you might want to try an Internet dating site (but a classy one) State an appropriate age range and that you are a virgin. Let potential daters know that if they an understanding and modern guy and things work out, that you are willing to let something more happen. Don't forget to state that you want to eventually lose your virginity (but in no way does that mean you are easy), you just don't want to wait until marriage.
Maybe an understanding guy will respond?

They're saying they don't want you because they're not serious about you, they just want sex. Guys avoid sex with virgins because they thing a virgin will become more emotionally attached than a non virgin, and will want a serious relationship. They want to be able to screw you and leave you with no drama.
Find a guy who likes your virginity and you'll be much happier with him than you could have with any of the others.

lol I don't believe this is a serious post at all. Most guys WANT virgins. Its hot. Nice guys want them because they aren't 'used goods' and haven't been sluting around...All the other guys want them just for a fresh lay.

The guys you're dating seem like jerks. There are tons of guys out there who will be honored and thrilled to be your first time and who will respect you and even think it's hot that you've waited to be with them...

If you're willing to toss out your self-respect and dignity all in the name of having sex, by all means, do it. If not, save yourself for someone special, not some random hookup. You don't have to wait for marriage but at least wait for a guy who respects you as a person, not a piece of tail.
