This may be a stupid question but im just wondering. I have Vista home premium. When Microsoft makes service pack 1 then 2 then 3 can i just go to the upgrade thing and it will upgrade to it or will i eventually have to give microsoft some more $$ to get it?

In the past, Microsoft has not charged for service packs and regular patches to their current operating system. While no one knows exactly what will happen in the future, we can hope that Microsoft will continue this policy. (Of course, the logical upgrade to Vista is either Mandriva, Fedora or OpenSuSE)
