Pick up your Bible and start reading scriptures to this voice....

Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong. 1 Corinthians 16:13

He has promised to supply every need we have. The Bible says: "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus". That's Phillipians 4:19.

God has promised that His grace is sufficient for us. (II Corinthians 12:9). in fact, He has made provision for our salvation by His grace through faith. Read Ephesians 2:8. It is through an obedient faith that we have access into the grace of God according to Romans 5:2.

God has promised that His children will not be overtaken with temptation. Instead, He assures us that a way of escape will be provided. This promise is recorded in I Corinthians 10:13. Jude wrote: "Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present your faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy" (Jude v 24). Darius, King of the Medes, said to Daniel, "Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee" (Daniel 6:16). He did deliver Daniel from the den of lions.

God has promised that all things work together for good to those who love and serve Him faithfully (Romans 8:28). It may be difficult for us to see and understand how this is accomplished at times, but God has promised it, and He will deliver.

God has promised that those who believe in Jesus and are baptized for the forgiveness of sins will be saved. (Read Mark 16:16 and Acts 2:38).

God's promises are 100% trustworthy and reliable (2 Corinthians 1 : 20).

Hebrews 13:5-6 "Let your conduct be without covetousness, and be content with such things that you have, for he has said, 'I will never leave you, nor forsake you,' so that we may boldly say, 'The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do to me.'"

There could be triggers that cause your attacks that you have not recognized yet. I would advise you to start logging your moods or journaling. Try to analyze what may have triggered this attack.

Behavioral therapists have a lot of success with helping people with panic attacks find the triggers that cause attacks and try to avoid or extinguish them.

Prayer is excellent. Do you have a 24 hour adoration chapel in your area. This can be a place of great peace and spiritual power, because the blessed sacrament is exposed on the altar there.

Keep in mind that the blessed sacrament is the most sacred and holy thing on this planet, being the true flesh of Christ.

I've had panic attacks a fair bit in my life. They are quite scary, feel like a heart attack. I've even had panic attacks on the very subject you're worrying about.

What you are experiencing, in terms of the spiritual thoughts associated with it, is called "the dark night of the soul," (after the phrase coined by the mystic St. John of the Cross.) Everybody experiences this worry from time to time... sometimes it runs for years. Even Mother Theresa had a huge, almost lifelong, crisis of faith.

St. John even wrote his spiritual canticle about this absence, describing the love of God as though it was a deer that had fled from him and could no longer be found.

He gives good advice on how to handle it.

"A soul finds its delight in spending long periods—perchance whole nights—in prayer; penances are its pleasures; fasts its joys; and its consolations are to make use of the sacraments and to occupy itself in Divine things."

So follow his advice... do a contemplative prayer like a decade or two of the rosary, or go to church! If you live in a big city, there will be a church with a night time Mass, or liturgy of the hours.

A night time visit to a chapel or even the quiet of your own room to do the rosary in silence is very calming.

And God will be with you... see how both me and the fellow above wrote about the deer? Neither of us knew the other would answer that. God is working through us to answer you...

Inspite of all these hurdles that the devil tries to put in your path, persist in praying the daily Rosary , at least five decades daily. All the saints prayed the Rosary daily. The Rosary is called the ' Scourge of Satan'. Ask Our Lady for the graces attached to each mystery and for all the graces that She knows you need most. Before beginning the Rosary pray the St.Michael's prayer which will put evil spirits at bay.

Also try to pray special prayers to St.Joseph on any day or on St.Joseph's day which is a Wednesday and beg for his protection and intercession. He is also called the ' Terror of demons'.
When you feel a panic attack coming call out to your guardian angel for help. ' O My good angel, whom God has appointed to be my guardian, enlighten and protect, direct and guard me. Amen'.

Try fasting combined with prayer to ward off these panic attacks. You could skip a meal and pray the Rosary while fasting. Fasting is very beneficial to your soul and will help protect you, as long as you pray alongwith it.

All the best!

Listen you need to relax... keep your faith up, love Jesus, and don't pay attention to the voice in your head saying crazy **** like Jesus doesn't exist and all the rest of that. I'm a Roman Catholic Deacon... (suprising huh with the stripper question earlier and all the rest of my joke questions lol... it probally would get me in trouble with the archdiocese) anyway that voice in your head is just you as a person stressing yourself out... stop worrying about losing faith... the only reason your worried about that is because your becoming a religious nut... and your stressing yourself out, love God, love the church, love life. Sit back and laugh, take some enjoyment out of the life that God gave you... God doesn't want you to just worship Him constantly to the point that your banging your head up against a wall.

God Bless

Concentrate on one thing....like your breath. Close your eyes and try to clear your mind-if you have negative thoughts pretend there is a breeze that just blows them away and continue to concentrate only on your breathing. Make sure your clothes are comfortable and you are seated or laying down somewhere comfortable. It is important to NOT be attached to the negative thoughts-no thinking that you're doing it wrong or let the thoughts lead to more negative thoughts-as soon as you can catch yourself go back to the breathing.
I'm more interested in keeping you from having a panic attack since I'm an atheist, but my idea of prayer is like meditation-it is good for the body to be calm, relaxed, and focused inward regardless of your reasons for doing it.

Your Faith is not diminishing. Perhaps you are experiencing some doubt in what your faith compells you to believe in...

It's not uncommon to have doubt. Catholic Dogma, for example, has many elements and a lot of it is beyond our understanding. This lack of understanding, while not our fault, might make one squeamish about accepting a given Dogma in spite of their lack of understanding it.

One of satan's tactics is attaching people's faith when they are most vulnerable. You seem to be most vulnerable during panick attacks, and that may be why something is calling your Faith into question at those times.

And because you are firm in your Faith; because despite repeated attempts satan is unable to shake your Faith, his attacks on your faith are becoming more intense - in the hopes that you will break off your relationship with God more out of fear of satan than a lack of faith in God.

If it's any consolation, satan works harder to mislead those who's faith is firm. He doesn't have to work hard at all to mislead someone who's devotion to God is weak.

I recommend you consult a good counselor.

However you want to pray the psalms, especially in the Liturgy of the Hours: http://www.universalis.com

Night Prayer is very calming: http://www.universalis.com/-800/compline.htm

It starts:

O God, come to my aid.
O Lord, make haste to help me.

And ends:

Of your kindness, Lord,
dispel the darkness of this night,
so that we your servants
may go to sleep in peace
and wake to the light of the new day,
rejoicing in your name.
Through Christ our Lord, Amen.

With love in Christ.

Everyone is tempted to deny Christ in some way at some stage of their lives. This is one of the temptations of the devil who tried to tempt Christ Himself. Don't listen to the whispers of the lord of liars. Hold fast to your faith and you'll get through it. Talk to a priest or church support group about it, sometimes being alone can cause doubts. God and Jesus exist in very real ways and love you, just as surely as the sun will rise in the morning. You can't always see the sun, but you know its there and it will rise again and again.

As a Catholic teen myself, i might say that what non-Catholics pay attention is from webs and webs of lies, spreading haha. human beings think of we worship the Pope, yet whilst nicely knowledgeable Catholics tell them that we see him as a successor of Peter and don't worship him, they nonetheless won't have self belief it. What saddens me much greater is that as quickly as human beings go around professing lies in regards to the Catholic faith and yet they be conscious of that what they're asserting isn't genuine, yet they do it in any case. i did not be conscious of plenty approximately my own faith the two, or maybe nevertheless i'm a youthful teen, i think that my eyes have been opened to quite wanting to assessment approximately my faith, and that i've got discovered plenty over the final 300 and sixty 5 days, and that i want to assessment greater approximately my faith universal. i think of that it is around my age whilst Catholics start to question their own faith, because of the fact they don't be conscious of plenty approximately their own faith, or they think of mass is uninteresting, or they enter new church homes and want to pass there particularly. a great number of what my family contributors has carried out. I quite have chosen to stay with the Catholic Church for something of my existence, and that i've got self belief that i'm at homestead. regrettably, Catholics depart and may even then start to tell lies of their faith that once became. fortuitously, many, many human beings chosen to return homestead each and every 300 and sixty 5 days. Catholics will consistently ought to stay with the bigotry meant in direction of their faith, yet i will quite say it is the bigotry approximately Catholicism that has made me greater ideal.
