my dogs about 15 pounds 1.5 years old and weve had him for about a half a year and hes gained a couple of pounds since then and i want to get him to loose a pound or 2 and then stay about the same weight...so ive stopped feeding him extra stuff and now i feed him 3/4 a cup instead of 1 cup of hills science diet lamb and rice....is this a good diet for him?

Yes, what you are doing is correct. You should also increase the exercise. There are much better dog foods out there than Science Diet, but this won't hurt your dog.

It depends what kind of breed your dog is.
We have a miniature dachshund and she eats the following brand:

She eats a big can a day...half in the morning and half in the evening.
I chose this product after the recent pet food recall. They have very good food for dogs and it is produced in the USA without any stuff from China in it....check it out.

hah yeah my dog was like that
lol
he should lose alot opf weight in the summer if u play with him alot
but umm dont feed him human food and humm
benaful is a good diet food
oh and make sure what foods u use remember how all those dogs are dieing

my doggy died from some food
i miss him so much it was in june he was only 5
