There can be a lot more to the eating issue than simple anxiety. Best to have this one checked out by a Dr or Counselor right off at the start, before taking on a lot of ideas and unnecessary concerns in the wrong direction.

My daughter has all sorts of mysterious symptoms that went undiagnosed from about the time she was 7 until she was 15. It was truly from a psychological disorder. As she was properly addressed, eventually she learned how to handle the causes of numerous symptoms,- including the inability to eat - and the rest just disappeared. Be sure to have her treated by a female well experienced in adolescent issues. ( as kids think and respond in a little different way than adults do, including some of the medications used for this type of symptom)

Are you certain that the problem is just that they don't want to eat? When I was 10, I had such bad anxiety that my throat actually got really tight and I couldn't eat (I ended up weighing only 70 pounds after a month or so of that), so don't assume the problem is what they do or don't want to do.
