I got my ears pierced 10 weeks ago and i have been changing my earrings but today i took out a pair i had in for like a week and i can't get another pair back in!! i am really mad and if i feel my ear i can feel a little ball of infection in it! i really don't want to let them close and have to get them re-pierced i dont want to have to go all through that again. =[ please help!

I got some earrings through!! thanks for all the help, i got a pair of my mom's earrings[ lol not the prettiest, to me anyway] in. i am going to leave them in for awhile and clean them really well!! thanks to everyone again, you all were great help!! =]

use your ear cleaner and clean it really good. make sure the earring is clean. than have some one put it threw for you again. =]

You should take out the earrings and don't try to shove it in. It might start bleeding and the infection will worsen. Just take it out and wait for it to heal naturally(which will take a long time) or go to the doctor. They'll give you medicine to make it heal better. After you can try again. If you don't want the piercing to hurt then try going to Claires at the mall. It isn't expensive and it's fast and painless. I've tried it before. They also give you bottles of a solution to clean your ear everyday with. Good Luck.

That's probably not an infection you feel, it's just your ear getting used to the shape of the earring. It's common. Put your old earrings back in and clean the holes and the jewelry very well. It's really nothing to worry about, unless there is puss coming out.. ew, haha.

Where did you get it pierced? Some peoples ears take longer to heal and so you might have closed the hole. Not a big deal. Should be to hard to push it back in. If you don't want to get them pierced again...then poke it thru yourself.

well they told me when i got my 2nd percing to not take them of for about 8 months so it wouldnt get irritated i suggest you go the place you got them pierced and ask them to put it back with the contraption they use
