Imagine no religious wars?

the best answer is in the question itself. I would say no. If religion stuck to spiritual guidance the world would be more peaceful. I think the spirit seeks peace. But contemporary religions all incorporate many things unrelated to a spiritual life. What does homosexuality or abortion have to do with spirituality? Or a 5,000 year old earth, Noah's ark etc. Nothing or very little. Religious types want to regulate your daily life.

No, people who use religion as an excuse for war would just find another excuse. On the other hand, all religions teach a set of moral values that stress kindness and generosity towards others as the basis for a good life. While this may not be the only way to teach virtue, it has been the primary means of doing so throughout history.

Some wars were really about religion, about being kept from worshipping, etc.
Other wars were only called religious in nature to get the people to fight.

Your question is very easy. Look around you. If you have any age on you at all, you know that in the past 30 years as they keep
dumping God out of everything, has the world gotten better?
When I grew up in the fifties and sixties,
children did not kill each other. Nobody ever walked into their place of employment and shoot up everyone.
Metal detectors were not necessary in the schools, and they weren't necessary in many of the Court Houses, either.
Married people worked their problems out insteading of throwing in the towel on the first argument.
Children had the balance of a mother figure and a father figure in the home.
Kids came home to mom in the kitchen, instead of mom either at some job or on a barstool.
People didn't lock their doors.
Neighbors could be trusted as if they were of your own blood family.
Hitchhiking meant getting a ride; now it means getting raped and killed.

It does not take a yale scholar to figure out that the World has gotten progressively worse as time went on.

Even if you do not like "religion", taking God and throwing Him out along with a Church system you don't care for is a very very bad idea.
If nothing else, religion kept people at least anchored to the dock so as not to have carte blanche to do anything and everything.

Lets dump religion, lets call Christians liars who lie to their children about there being a God. And what is it replaced with? What they call the truth?
Here's an example of their truth:
"Heather" has two mommys.

This is a cute little story they read to kindergarteners to introduce them to gay sex in the Public Schools.
HEATHER DOES NOT HAVE TWO MOMMYS. Heather has a mommy and a daddy. Where the hell is daddy? That would be the question now wouldn't it?
I quess the woman mommy moved into her bedroom sits on eggs and hatches them?

This World is swiftly moving into complete and utter chaos. No consequence to any action. No responsiblility. Kids raising themselves. People without hope. Children without guidance.
Peaceful? Seems to me that the budgets for this falls school year is strapped because they need MORE METAL DETECTERS; they need MORE HALL MONITORS EVEN POLICE OFFICERS IN MANY CASES.
We never even heard of such a thing thirty years ago. Didn't need it. Explain why you would think that since religion is being dumped, we are going into a more peaceful time? I don't see peace. I see blood, blood and more blood.
And I see people so blinded to it that they
actually stand there scratching their heads wondering "why"? Maybe theres too much religion in the world. maybe theres not enough gay people in the world. maybe all we need is another gay parade down the streets of Jerusalem. Maybe we just need a gay woman to be head of a church.
Maybe we can elect someone new to be the President; surely there must be one person in the billions on earth who can save us, right? Sadly, there isn't. And sadly, things are gonna get way, way worse than they are right now. And sadly those same idiots will still be scratching their heads and wondering "why"???

No the world would not be more peaceful. Secular political systems such as communism have been by far the worst and most brutal offenders in the history of warfare.

Pol Pot, Mao Tse Tung, and Josef Stalin killed more people in their incursions, purges, and wars than all of the religious wars put together since Homo Erectus first wielded a club.

The 20th century - the century of the atheist and humanist wars - was the bloodiest century in human history.

if there were to be a link established between current ones so that might be seen if a specific one such as God the world might be if everyone who believed in God were to contact God in a place centred around the idea all have this connection. if a building could be made to incorporate designs from each if people were to ask why if they all believe in God they contact God from separate buildings. this will not happen though as with Christianity different ideas collided head on and this idea could be worse.on the other hand if it is centred around the idea that three who believe in God have that in common there might be less of a problem. neither do any of the people who believe in God want to do so from one Holy Place. neither would it be acceptable to have symbols on this Holy Place such as a cross and The Star Of David or to have a Holy Place which has elements of each Holy Place such as a church, synagogue though many already incorporate designs from eslewhere if statement not a mockery,or mosque. all similliar in purpose. design could use different type of mosque if it ever was possible scratch that. could use morals at any time.problem is they are not enough money prevails each time. it controls people metaphorically they are the puppets and cash forms the puppet strings and puppeteer funtion at same time.

I agree, but I think "religion" serves more as a political guide, something to help keep governments in order, and has really nothing to do with a spiritual connection to God.
Religion is man made and corrupt, and a spiritual relationship with God isn't.

People create wars, and if everyone believed in what Jesus Christ had to say there would be no wars..he said 'turn the other cheek'. Man is so weak and so proud everyone wants to be right. Religion is man made, it's a word but what is important actually who is important is always challenged.

Highly doubtful. Before Christianity war were a way of life, a normal state of affairs, read your history books. The Romans converted and stopped being aggressive, they converted the Barbarians who were in a constant state of war until then, etc.

Absolutely!
Damn near all the organized evil that mankind has had to deal with has been generated by our misguided need for some kind of sky fairy. And don't go pointing to Stalin or Hitler. They actually replaced one form of religious fanaticism with the state being the center of worship. That is not a true atheistic society.

Sure we will always jack someones car, wife etc. There will always be individual murderers, rapists and thieves but it takes a religion to perform genocide and other atrocities on a massive scale.

That isn't a what-if question. That experiment has been successfully tested many times in the last century, and the results have been consistent. Just pick up detailed book on the history of 20th century atheism.
