You are wrong on so many levels it is hard to know where to start.
1) The issue has NOTHING to do with who immigrated here when it was multiple territories controlled by multiple countries. And once our ancestors got here - We tried to fit in. We learned the language. We followed the laws. We paid taxes. We became Americans. Far to many of the illegal immigrants do not want to become Americans, they want to turn America into what they left. They want Americans to assimilate to them.
2) Those South American Fathers you refer to - those would be the Spanish or the Portuguese, or the Dutch or the British? Which ones. Because the same thing happened to the natives in South America as happened to the natives in North America. Those who came from overseas ended up taking over everything.
3) We are being SOOOOO mean to you. Last year the United States issued visas to allow LEGAL immigration or to allow for work or education in the US to over 5 MILLION people. A large percentage of those came from South America.
5 MILLION - more than the entire rest of the world combined. So tell me again how we hate immigrants and how mean we are.

We didn't immigrate really. We came here, killed any of them that opposed us, relocated them to areas we didn't want (at that time), and pretty much just took the land and kept it. Oh wait... that wasn't us. That was some people that lived about 300 years ago (not a history major so don't know the date). It wasn't nice of them to do, but things were pretty differant back then. "Policital Correctness" had not been invented yet. Also, I believe you could be hung (or whatever they did to kill prisoners) for talking the way we take for granted. Also there were no immigration laws the people broke back then. I think they still used leeches for medical treatment also. Any comparison between current immigration problems and to the issues that came up back then is asinine, and only goes to prove that there is no good argument against the Americans that do not want illegal aliens in our country. Also... the pilgrams did not take jobs from the native americans, and they did not sign up for welfare, rental assistance, and medicaid as soon as they stepped off the boat. The dynamics are not anywhere near the same. The native americans had a great injustice occur to them, but it has nothing in common with the current topic.

Incorrect,my people came from an island but the name of it is Ireland. North Americans by the way come from many places and not all are European.
The government is not being at all fair with it's current policies since at present they aren't enforcing any policies and I as a citizen am outraged by their unfairness. We are supposed to be protected from an illegal criminal invasion.
As for massacres,I don't think whites have a monopoly on that. Where do you think mexicans got the land from? A look into history would surely show some blood on their hands.
Gwen, perhaps you should grow thicker skin before posting here if you can't handle what someone with a different opinion from yours says.

I think it would be best to ask this question of Cortez and his Conquistadors! Those Mexican ancestors killed more Aztecs and Mayans and other Mexican tribes than the Norte Americano ever dreamed of! Those that didn't die were enslaved on their own lands, with their language and culture crushed and outlawed by the Spaniards and their Holy Inquisition! And don't forget what happened to the Incas ... all for the glory of Spain and King Ferdinand (or whatever his name might have been)!
And don't forget that even the Indians of the Americas, both North and South came here from somewhere else. Who did they shove off of their lands?
Mexico lost the American Southwest because they LOST a war! The United States claimed New Mexico, Arizona, California, Colorado and Nevada by right of conquest. Santa Anna even accepted a bribe of millions of dollars in payment for that territory, even though the U.S. didn't have to pay a cent. How much of that money did the peons living there at the time receive? Not one peseta!
Texas had already won it's independence from Mexico and joined the U. S. on it's own. Which fact pissed-off the Mexican government immensely since they had never gotten over the fact that Sam Houston and his ragged army had kicked the Mexican army's a**, and disgraced it's commanding officer, Santa Anna.
It's OUR country and we have a right to enact any laws we wish and we wish to have a secure border. Anyone that comes here has to do so legally or risk internment and deportation. If only we could get our lily-livered politicians to act!
You sure your name ain't Pablo or Paco???

In a sense they were much like illegal immigrants. The white man came here and conquered all that stood in their way. Honestly, the white man should have tried to live in peace and harmony with the native Americans and should have learned their ways. But the white man was greedy, and they wanted everything for themselves instead of sharing, so the white man wiped out entire tribes of innocent people killing men, women, children, young and old just so they could expand their territories. I am of mainly Irish and Scottish decent, and the dreaded British did the same to my ancestors homelands, but either way it doesn't make things right.

Nope.
I have relatives here who greeted the first whites when they came west :)
The Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese and other North Americans descended from East Asian ancestors did not come from England.
The French Canadians & French Americans in the old French possessions would be offended at the suggestion that they came from England.
At the time you refer to in your statement, the Spanish who settled in North America were at war with the English. They definitely did not come from England.
Don't even think of telling the Irish in North America that they came from the island of Great Britain and not from the island of Ireland :)
As for the descendants of the Africans who were forcibly settled in North America, they almost always were shipped direct to North America. There may be some who were shipped to Europe first to supply the European slave market, but not enough of those went to North America via England to make much difference.
As for the Russians who settled Alaska ... definitely not English.
Then there are the Dutch, German, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Portuguese, Filipino, Polynesian, Samoan, Carribean Islander, South American Native Americans, Arabs, Semites, Hindi and countless other non-English peoples.
The English and their descendants are a minority in North America.
The North American American Indians might have a problem with your assertion that prior to the settlement by peoples from Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia & the various island peoples around the world that South American American Indians ruled North America :D

I was born here. My parents emigrated from Norway. I don't have one drop of English blood in my veins. None of my ancestors were here for the Civil War, the period of slavery or the Indian Wars.
But, the historical death count tells me that the Europeans from the Iberian Peninsula (Spain and Portugal) did a hell of a lot more killing of indigenous people than the Europeans who wound up in what is now the U.S. So, when the "criollos" and the other "high-born" individuals of Central and South American apologize for their ancestors slaughtering native people, then maybe they can then point fingers at the folks in "Del Norte".

Yes,
But they did not kill all of them just 9,750,000 , They left 250,000 alive ( The Great American Holocaust )
Wasn't that nice of them !!
Mickey I thank the Irish that defected from the American Army and join the Mexican Army, The "San Patricio Battalion". All hung by the Americans At wars End, The Mexican flag is flown in John Riley's home town, of Clifden Galway County today. (I know you would like that)
Spain and Portugal as well as other Europeans,
Were also involved in the killing of millions of Indigenous people But millions are still left to this day in Mexico and the rest of Latin America,
But that does not excuse the murders your forefather committed in what is now the U.S.A. ,
May they all rot in hell for their crimes !!!
Big Jon ...., The Indians came from Asia ,and your people came from Africa, you can't go back any farther than that !!
Chuck jr... The Texas rebellion stated when Texans brought slaves to Texas, that violated Mexican law against Slavery.!!
You know only what you were spoon fed in American schools.
American (KIA) in Mexican War.........!,800 troops
American's (KIA) 4,600 (MIA) pursumed dead 2,800 troops
Total (KIA) 11,500, in the Guerrilla War during the Occupation of Mexico.
Strange sounds just like Iraq, the U.S. could not fight a guerrilla war them either.
You did not kick no ones butt !!!

Please feel free to bring forth one plaintiff from that time and we'll let the courts decide their guilt or innocence.
Massacres?
Texas Revolution...1836.
Mexican-American War started by Santa Ana endede in 1848 resulting in the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo where the USA paid them 15 Million bucks (You do the conversion to todays dollars Sparky) AND absorbed 3 additional millions of dollars of Mexicos International debt....and this was AFTER we kicked their butt. WE could have taken it. We didn't owe them a damn thing.
Your Question is null and void on it's face because your facts are incorrect.
Are we being "fair"?
We are going out of our way to be more than fair. Are the illegals causing our hospitals to close, and degrading our School systems being fair?
Hellllll...NO
First word of their status is "illegal". Get past that one and we'll talk, but study your history before making outrageous claims in your questions.

You are using a broad paint brush here.
In the FIRST place, North America is comprised of Canada, the United States, and Mexico. So just that fact alone means the answer to your question is NO!!!!!
I'm going to stop there. You obviously know little of geography or history judging by the rest of your post.
