K so, my sister, Taylor, doesnt like to wear panties, shes a young adult (23) and she says shes not trying to be sexy, she just thinks panties are waaaay uncomfortable, and she has never worn them, as long as i can remember, but when she wears a skrit or dress she wears spandex short shorts. so, do u think its gross? also she sleeps in the nude, is this weird?? and its not like shes fat or anything, shes like, 112 lbs 5'4, so if u thought she was heavy than ya, that may be kinda gross, lol. She washes her pants right after she wears them so its not like she wears them again and they're all...... gross inside. and she wears bras and everything,, and also all u stupid judgemental people, it wud hardly be anydifferent if she wore a thong!

Other than for cosmetics or to hold a maxi pad, panties are useless. What some people say about infections is a bunch of bull. It’s amazing how ignorant people are and how they make up or easily believe what other pinheads make up.

I guess that you can say that panties are the last line of defense against women showing their goods to the world if they accidentally flash people while wearing a skirt.

It's true that women don't have any external sexual orgasms hanging around like us men, but women do get discharge from their vaginas even when they are not menstruating, of course, it's a different type of discharge. It's always better to stain a set of panties than to stain your clothes, in particular, white pants. But, even though it is true that you may stain your pants or shorts, it doesn’t mean that the stay will show through the fabric. Generally it doesn’t. With skirts, you don’t run into that problem, for obvious reasons.

Some women's underwear also have "hidden" benefits. Throughout history, some women have used supportive underwear to help them improve their looks. Some panties briefs provide lower abdominal support, that helps flatten their lower bellies. While others lift the buttocks, for obvious reasons.

I had a real “close” friend who used to suffer from yeast infection quite often when she was in her mid teens. Her doctor told her to use some medication and that once the infection went away, to try to let “it” breath as much as possible. Not to wear really tight clothes, specially jeans, and to leave the panties at home as much as possible. I’ve know her now for about 13 years and she still doesn’t wear panties. She and her friend (who also doesn’t wear any panties) are pretty amazing when it comes to smell. I don’t mean to discuss any body, but yes, I’ve had sex with both and gone down on both, and there’s not one time that I can recall them smelling pretty bad or strongly down there. For the most part they hardly smell at all. Also, about 4 years ago I met another girl from Romania who didn’t wear panties either and she was the same way.

I don't think it's that gross, some people are like that. Maybe, if other people think it's really gross and are judging her, then she can gradually try to get used to wearing some comfortable cotton panties that aren't too tight or uncomfortable. Even though we all have our own opinions and ideas, sometimes it's necessary to do things that are accepted by society! :)

Also, I think the reason a lot of people think not wearing panties is uncomfortable because if you don't wear panties than sometimes when you're wearing jeans it gets all stuck and uncomfortable inside. So panties are mostly just for protection and hygiene, so that you don't get bacteria inside or anything.

tbh i only wear panties 50% of the time b/c i find them uncomfy... i think it's not unusual for someone to go without them and i also think it's not unusual for ppl to sleep in the nude.

also, you wont get an infection... not wearing panties has absolutely nothing to do with that area getting any kind of infection. you will more likely get a yeast infection for example by constantly wearing super tight jeans b/c that area cant breathe. or if yer preggers you are told by yer doc that you'll most likely end up with one lol.

It sounds like it's smelly and just waiting for an "upps"--plus she's in the years where she still gets her period. ALL girls know that accidents happen with pads AND tampons.

I don't think that it is gross, its actually comfortable not to wear them sometimes, sleeping nude is cool also. Don't get your panties all in a bunch...... Your sis doesn't care, so neither should you, she's not a weirdo. its actually very common, Maybe you should try it.

I don't see anything wrong with this. As long as she doesn't wear something see-through. And it really is more comfortable. But if wearing a skirt / dress..might be a good idea so nothing gets "flashed".

Wearing no panties isn't gross. All they do is protect the inside of your clothes but if she washes those all the time then I don't see a problem with it. Sleeping with no panties is supposed to be better for you anyways (it reduces risk of something, I don't remember what)
