People believe in god because 99% of people in this world are sheeple and ignorant. They allow themselves to be told what to do,how to think, and how to act. God and religion are for the WEAK miserable pukes that can't hack life on their own or take responsibility for their actions.

No. I believe in God because he is a real, loving God

Some and more believe because it makes sense and is logical. I prefer to see the existence of God as being more logical than some random accident of chance. The sunrise, the stars, the tides and a babies smile are to special to be a mistake. Peace

Yes, sounds like there is a lot of truth in that statement.

But there is nothing to be concerned about. The Prodigal Son just remembered his Father's wealth and turned around and went home. He was greeted with open arms.

Ch 18 has that part of the story and it's a fun chapter in a free book... Gospel Enigma.

At first in my younger years i felt that way, being involved in the Vietnam War and being wounded opened my eyes to what hate was and it took that rage to kill another man. i began to study the bible and it answered a lot of my questions and helped improve my quality of life and my perspective of this world.

No, because they were born of God the Father who art in heaven, they are drawn to him, but because the churches have told them that the entire bible is inspired by God, they are exposed to the influences of Satan, and they believe as they are told, by the traditions of men.

Strange how all people are born with the understanding that there is a God.

No way! God loves me! Why would I be scared of someone who loves me beyond all reason?

I think some may ... because a lot of churches teach hell fire ... and though I don't believe that a hell fire exisits (rather, I know it doesn't exist), those who do, may fear going to it if they don't believe in God or go to Church.

I, have a Godly fear, but not a morbid fear. My fear comes in displeasing God or doing something that would go against what he requires of us/me to do. I don't, however, believe in him DUE to fear, if that makes sense.

I believe in him because all around me there is evidence of his existence & creation, and I am in awe of it all and him. He surely deserves our worship.
