I imagine that eventually religion will come up with anyone I date and I'm agnostic. So I guess when I say that that could definitely put the relationship into danger, no? So what do I do? I dont want to lie, but I dont want to lose a relationship either?

Not many girls are agnostic or atheist right?

umm...I think there are just as many females atheist/agnostics as male.

you just have to be honest and be respectful of their religion. hopefully they will respect yours.

do you really want a relationship to continue with someone that would dump your for your beliefs?

Just say you're not religious if you rather not use agnostic. Either seems ok though. Don't lie and say you're a christian or something. Atleast as an agnostic you won't be drawing a line between you like you would if you were atheist. Saying you're atheist says that you've done some thinking on the subject and have ruled out god completely. That will turn off many religious gals. As an agnostic there may be a chance they will accept it, though they might spend time trying to "fix" you.

Being agnostic works just fine for my husband. I'm a theist, and we've been happily married for 12 years. He respects my religious activities, and I in turn do not expect him to participate in them against his will.

There are plenty of atheists and agnostics out there of both sexes. If religion comes up, I would say be honest: do you really want to develop something with someone that is based on a fundamental lie about where you stand?

Most girls and women I know are atheist or agnostic (which is form of atheism anyway). Mind you, I live in Australia where religion is no big deal. Those who go to church go to church, those who don't, don't. We don't have the obsession with religion found in the USA. We have many atheists in Parliament and have had atheist Prime Ministers, State Premiers and State Governors.

We are far more suspicious of very religious people than we are of atheists.

Don't' worry about not being able to attract a woman into a relationship with you because you are agnostic. Anyone who is agnostic or an atheist is the most pitiable person in the world. He claims there is no way to be able to truly know God (agnostic) or he believes there is no God at all. His biggest worry - or your worry in this particular case - more than finding a suitable partner or any other goal or dream in life is ACTUALLY realizing he will never have peace in himself, with others, and with God, and that he will never experience God's promises of an abundant life on earth, and an eternal abode in heaven with the Creator when physical life is over. You might think I was giving you the wrong answer. The truth is that YOU ASKED THE WRONG QUESTION. SORRY FOR YOU.

I'm one and I'm hot. But I've already been taken. Do you really want to be with a bible beater anyway? Agnostic is easy to accept on both sides-religious people think "phew-at least he believes in some sort of god" and atheists think "phew-at least he hasn't bought into the organized religion crap and is intelligent enough to question what he has been spoon fed."

Do not sacrifice your principles so as not to offend some woman's meaningless religious sensibility. I've dated two Christian girls, neither one of them were offended by my atheism.

If she's such a twit as to make any sort of deal out of it, then you'd best be looking elsewhere anyway. Why date a deadbrain idiot?

Besides, if she's so devout as to be offended by your lack of religiosity, she's clearly too religious to put out before marriage, unless she's a hypocrite (which many of them are...).

So really, don't sweat it.

Partners do not have to be clones of each other.
The differences between people in a relationship can be very healthy as long as you respect each other.
Go for it!

EDIT...

The Lion and the Bee is telling you that you asked the wrong question - HOW TYPICALLY ARROGANT !!!!!!!!!
