I have had temperatures that were that high. I was in the hospital with an infection and very, very sick. I had chills so bad the bed was shaking. The nurses were trying to bring down the fever. They sponged me with cool water and laid me on a water mat that had cold water running through it. When my fever finally began to reduce I began to perspire profusely. You are quite ill if your temperature spikes that high. Babies and little children can experience seizures. Adults usually don't seize from high fevers.

I wouldnt hang around the house to find out.I'd go to the ER.
Mine has been as high as 103 and I didnt go...I remember just burning up.We have a king size bed and hubby could feel the heat across the bed.I slept a lot to.I finally went to my thyroid Dr (i have to be treated different because of thyroid disease, certain meds I cant take) he bout had a fit when I walked in with a 103 temp....ended up being bronchitis, almost turned into pneumonia cause I waited 2 long to go.
If you got a fever that high,or know someone that does...go to the ER

well brain damage occurs at 106, so I'd say a temp that high is dangerous, could lead to fatality if not treated aggressively.
