Earlier I was browsing through the Yahoo QA Suggestions section because of a post I had deleted yesterday. I was curious when I saw the tab, so I searched to see what sort of feedback RS users are giving Yahoo concerning whether the RS section's serving their percieved needs.

Here's the link to the feedback:

Would you say this represents the feelings of the actual religious factions here?

Who is this 'annonymous user' that keeps posting??? If people are going to post, they could at least be honest and upfront about it!

I won't speak for others, but I will certainly speak for myself: the Yahoo referee system is badly broken, and no fix is in sight. It is a good bet that Yahoo does not monitor the content of this or any other forum -- there is simply too much going on. It is an equally good bet that Yahoo referees do not individually examine complaints about specific questions or answers; it is simply impossible for anyone to be as stupid as some of the decisions concerning suitability indicate, and be able to dress oneself in the morning. This leaves the field open to the trolls, who will flag a question or answer that they don't like, no matter how apt it may be. (I once got flagged on a quote from the bible!) This would not be so bad if complaints about the system were actually attended to by the referees, but all that will ever happen with a complaint is that you will get an asinine form letter, with nothing else being done.

I am a Christian who believes in freedom of speech and I am in favor of all people asking questions that could lead someone to search for the truth.
I believe that yahoo needs to allow the exchaange of ideas.
I believe Yahoo should swallow their whistles when it comes to some of the reporting so that we can have an exchange of beliefs and opinions without the fear of being deleted because someone does not share our belief.
If these suggetions I read on Yahoo suggestions are representative of the majority fo yahoo users on R&S then I do not share their opinions

No, I think it just represents a few. Why can't people just relax? The only suggestion I could even think of making is find a way to keep out profanity because it just sounds unintelligent and children get on sometimes (although they shouldn't be allowed).

God Bless.

Yahoo is a great-cooled supercomputer placed in the city limits of Sunnyvale. area of its center applications incorporate sending out violation notices, BA conratulations notices, and making use of smtp protocols for e mail replace. Secondary applications incorporate such issues as gadget upkeep, trojan horse removal (sic), and the postioning of a query mark on the top of your "questions". (Your getting used interior the collective experience, not you particularly, regardless of the actuality which you're lined, are not getting us incorrect.) the laptop does not think of. we can not tension this element sufficient. replace: As may well be evidenced with the aid of the shortcoming-, or absence-of pronounced question mark on your (2d man or woman case) question, secondary applications are given very-quite low priority certainly. .

I say if you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen. I've learned a lot, laughed a lot and hopefully helped others a little.

Nobody is forced to come here.

The fact it is emotive makes it worth having. Anyway, I bet the football section forum has posts saying "ban the Millwall fans", and the politics section has posts saying "ban the liberals." Or whatever.

Some of the people there make me laugh, specially the ones who want this section removed. They don't like it, so they want all of us to be deprived.
