Ask all the churches if you can put an ad in their bulletins and include a flyer in whatever packet they give to newly engaged couples.

Get a booth in a local wedding fair. If you don't have one in your community, organize one!

Write a short article on wedding tips and send it as a press release to all your local news outlets (tv, radio, newspaper) with a letter offering your services as a local expert to use for interviews. Keep after them -- notify them of your existence quarterly or whenever there is a big celebrity wedding or some other event that ties to your business.

As a publicity stunt, coordinate "renewal of vows" ceremonies for couples who have been married 60, 70 or 75 years in your area. Lots of media coverage there! Check with local retirement communities and nursing homes for potential candidates.

Word of mouth is the best. Hook up with the bridal suites in your community. See if they will allow you to leave brochures. Ask to be included in any bridal shows etc. Advertise Bridal Shower tips and include your website for Wedding Coordinator. Choose a local newspaper you can afford to advertise regularly - even nickel newspapers. Backpage.com - Facebook.com - MySpace.com - Find locals and connect. Better to have a really hot page than to openly solicit them - so I've learned. Be sure to contact us for wedding favors - Lip Scents.net

I would suggest taking your business plan to the SBA and discuss it with a mentor. See if you are hitting the right areas with your marketing for your niche.

Best of luck.
