I noticed that I weigh less & am skinnier when I'm not as active. & then I exercise for like 2 weeks & then get on the scale & find out that I gained weight instead of lost & then I become depressed & find myself being sedentary again.

Your body could be retaining a bunch of water. That is a strange situation you have there, but it could happen. See, when you exercise you obviously become more thirsty and thus drink more water. If you eat a lot of meats that contain protein and creatine your muscles retain water, thus becoming bigger and heavier. I take creatine supplements, and it makes me heavier because my arms and chest grow from muscle mass and water. Creatine is stored in the muscles and your body might like to store creatine. When one who drinks creatine supplements stops to work out, they literally deflate in a matter of days and lose up to 10 pounds of water mass. When lifting weights or exercising, muscles take that creatine in and expand. You have a rare condition of your body storing plenty of creatine. This is actually beneficial to you. = )

I am not quite sure If I am correct but, I believe muscle does weigh more then fat thus when you are "sedentary" your muscle mass decreases. And yes, I am the same way you are, I sit all day and when I get up and be active I do gain weight.

Maybe because when you exercise it builds muscle and that is where the weight is coming from.
