my 23 year old brother says that all the crippled and deformed animals should be burned up or put to sleep. he also said that if he seen a hurt cat on the street he would just leave it and let it die.
what do you think about this?? i think hes being an asshole.

Everyone has a right to life. I've worked with disabled people (Never,ever call them 'The Disabled') and they're the kindest, most considerate, friendly people ever. Just ask your brother what he would do if he was suddenly struck by a car and had his spinal cord damaged that would confine him to a wheelchair for the rest of his life. If he would like to be put down so be it, but sadly there are many people in that position who are grateful for every scrap of life they can enjoy, painful though it may be. He should be thoroughly ashamed of himself and, yes, he IS an asshole.

i think hes just trying to think of what would give it the less harm which is why he said they should be put to sleep. but i bet he doesnt like animals and thats why he would leve the cat in the street but then again he could be talking about there is no way to help it and so he would leave it there

He is an asshole. There is a competition for the Ugliest Dogs of America and there are a lot of deformed dogs but there are still cute and their owners love them just as they are.

I think your brother has no feelings at all animals have feelings to and if your brother leaves an animal like that then he needs some help

i agree, you know what my sister said,
she said that all the little mutt dogs on the street shouldnt be allowed to have babies. ans that she was gonna get a van, load up all the mutts and go and fix them,
i think she was being a jrek too

He's a hardass, isn't he? But that's the way some people are. They find it a huge challenge to show compassion. It's not totally unusual.
