It seems to me that there are signs of a possible spiritual evolutionary leap occurring within the fairly near future.
Do you too see that?
And if so, what cost will there be in terms of human suffering?
For sure we can't go on too long the way things are.
What say you?

Hi Jon,

The following is a passage I read in a book about 18 years ago. I read it with interest and have observed it occuring. As the mentioned group grows, which it does daily due to its inclusivity, it will eventually include a majority or the population. I think that once the numbers are big enough or the voices spoken clearly enough, a shift will take place. In other words, a spiritual evolutionary leap :-)

Human suffering has many causes but the bigger causes are caused by attachments to materiality and beliefs. The suffering on physical plane requirements should diminish. There should be less hunger, more education, more reaching out and serving the race of man.

Anyway, here is the quote I read many years ago. Do you also see it happening?

"They are being gathered out of every nation. . . gathered and chosen. . . by the power of their response to the spiritual opportunity, tide and note. They are emerging out of every group and church and party, and will therefore be truly representative. This they do, not from the pull of their own ambition and prideful schemes, but through the very selflessness of their service. They are finding their way to the top in every department of human knowledge, not because of the clamour they make about their own ideas, discoveries and theories, but because they are so inclusive in their outlook, and so wide in their interpretation of the truth that they see the hand of God in all happenings, His imprint upon all forms, and His note sounding forth through every channel of communication between the subjective reality and the objective outer form. They are of all races; they speak all languages; they embrace all religions, all sciences and all philosophies. Their characteristics are synthesis, inclusiveness, intellectuality and fine mental development. They own to no creed, save the creed of Brotherhood, based on the one Life. They recognise no authority, save that of their own souls, and no Master save the group they seek to serve, and humanity whom they deeply love. They have no barriers set up around themselves, but are governed by a wide tolerance, and a sane mentality and sense of proportion. They look with open eyes upon the world of men and recognise those whom they can lift and to whom they can stand as the Great Ones stand, — lifting, teaching and helping. They recognise their peers and equals, and know each other when they meet, and stand shoulder to shoulder with their fellow workers in the work of salvaging humanity. It does not matter if their terminologies differ, their interpretations of symbols and scriptures vary, or their words are few or many. They see their group members in all fields - political, scientific, religious, and economic - and give to them the sign of recognition and the hand of a brother. They recognise likewise Those who have passed ahead of them upon the ladder of evolution, and hail Them Teacher, and seek to learn from Them that which They are so eager to impart."

What I am picking up on lately is that my view is extremely limited. A few days ago I would have been in complete agreement with what you said about our evolution. Now I wonder. What spurred this on to me is that I participate in a blog discussing this evolution by thousands of what I thought were like-minded individuals concerned with self-discovery and spiritual growth. When I recently made a comment about the effect that negative emotions, thoughts, sensations and beliefs have on health, it became apparent by the negativity expressed that these people, the ones who I had previously been impressed with as far as courage, intelligence, and conscience, that they absolutely denied this possibility or theory. They just couldn`t even attempt to understand something that I see as basic and obvious and that furthermore I had always thought everyone agreed with.

Speaking about human suffering as a part of spiritual evolution in the sense that the suffering would have to increase in order to provide the necessary will to work on or focus on evolution, I am now sceptical that it is near happening. Hope is usually assumed to belong to the fact that the new generations come better prepared neurologically. I wish I could be more sure, more hopeful.
It seems to me that there are too many who celebrate the removal of their blinders, turn around to head in a new direction, then slip those same old blinders on again.

I doubt that anyone who has looked at a few of my answers or my 360 would be surprised to hear that I am absolutely sure that we are in the gathering energy storm that will lead to that leap.

The fairly near future would mean, to me , over the next 5 years or so, with an exponentially increasing degree of evidence that 'something' is under way. At this time I believe that the more energetically 'sensitive' will be fully aware of this, but that the majority of the population over about 30 years of age will probably not. It is evident to me that a far greater proportion of the world's young people are 'awake' to this changing energy pattern, even if they are not yet clear about exactly what it signifies. As the process gathers pace I would not be surprised to see more and more people becoming aware that our world is changing, in the manner of a chain-reaction.

The cost in apparent human suffering will seem to be great, and has already started, I am not going to make specific allusions to some of the events as to the people who were/ are involved in them may take offence at the implications. But I am assured that many will leave this physical plane over the next five years, using the manner of their departure to aid the process. Some just will not be able to adapt to the changing energy grid patterns in their present form.

To those who understand that 'human suffering' is the strongest element of the illusion of 'Maya', it will be clear that this suffering is both intentional, and has great purpose. Those manifesting these things are making tremendous personal and individual sacrifices ( of the purest kind, totally voluntary ) in order to help the 'One' become, and , in my view, should honoured as such.

No, Jon, we can't. A couple of old farts like us have a far greater perspective of time than most here, and this feeling of some lunatic, exponential acceleration toward some kind of oblivion of frenzied, pointless activity cannot be sustained indefinitely.

So say I.

Jon,

You just stole my thought, i was thinking about this , yesterday evening.

yes, also it is prescribed in scriptures that, Spirituality will again establish its base, but this will not be long lived, and will end soon.

This is also called as mini-golden age in the Age of iron. ie kruta-Krita yuga.

Also some of the things, authoritatively predicted in more than one sources, Many of the lost knowledge would be returned by time. The most important of these :

1.) The spirituality and Knowledge of Evolution and eternity and also The knowledge of Salvation.

2.) The once had been basic sciences like Predictions, Sixth Sense and Also the Other tantra's ( means Magic and of that sort )

3.) Most mainly a deviation of Human race is predicted after 2013 etcc...

So i see the path is opening up for this... its exciting. but i do not know how many day we will be here, and if we will be able to see all these acts of Lord etc.

the assumption seems high quality on the exterior, however the difficulty is human beings do it for all time besides. supply it a label, and it will finally end up be controlled/manipulated and at last grow to be "previous hat", and a "lesson from historic previous" particularly some the ethos of the hippies became into approximately starting to be merely such a non secular revolution, and look what took place to that. stable luck including your innovations. To be a real non secular revolution (particularly than a non secular one) the driving tension at the back of "the exchange" has to return from interior of and not be compelled from exterior

Surely life will change, as it always does. If a 'spiritual evolutionary leap' is something that needs to happen for life to evolve, then undoubtedly that will happen.

The cost: Will always be huge, as it has been with any religious 'cause' in history.

I think you're right, but it may take some 40+ years before things get better.

The fact that nations are coming together, right here on Y!A, and openly discussing their religious/spiritual beliefs is a great sign!

Also, the fact that the 'big questions' are being addressed is another sign. Scientist and lay people, with varying experiences, are sharing great knowledge and from the heart...another great sign!

This is the first time in history that so many people have had the capabilities (Internet) to come together and 'talk'.

We are very fortunate and I see a lot of promise.

Ignorance is not bliss...ignorance is suffering! Y!A is just one way we are alleviating ignorance.

Hi Jon,
Yes I do get a sense of that. Maybe as the world is getting closer we are having to intergrate more and more. Confrontation leading to synthesis perhaps?
Peace based on love, toleranceand openness, rather than power struggles. Can we learn from each other?

Coyote, with kindness and wisdom reminded me that I need to empty my cup. Perhaps that can be our future, I hope so.

Don't know the future, but what you say has got a right feel to it.

Love to all.

I have been observing too.The inquiring mind is overwhelming the conventional religions.

Religions are there to answer questions humans face in daily life.More and more of these questions are unanswered as religions are forced to not evolve.

There maybe pain with any transition, but I believe experience is to be gained from all changes.

I will look forward to it
