I speak American. You want to speak English then go to England.
I don't like dealing with any phone call where I have to press anything for anything.

I immediately press "0" and if I don't get a real person I hang up.
I made a joke the other night and said when I called this company it said press 1 for Spanish and Press 2 for English. Nobody got it.

I will not press a button to "request" English. I wait for the operator...saves time anyway rather than wading through the menus and being asked the same questions by the time you DO get someone on the phone.

Even if you press 2 for Spanish 99% of the time you will still get an english speaker. Then, you have to verbally tell them "Espanol?".
So.. who cares

My time is to important to even consider another persons language culture in my country were the language of business and government is English.
To be forced to decide between the two is politically incorrect because I do not recognize other languages in my country. Much like my country (USA) does not recognized dual citizenship. Hmmm.
Then why are businesses wasting my time with such language nonsense. It is because they are trying to make a buck or they wouldn't do it. And that means, they are making a buck off me because they are wasting my time.
I don't want my bills bilingual. It is confusing to me. I want all English and nothing but English. Have a seperate line for others who do not want to speak English.
Just like the lines at the border. I am a citizen and I don't want to wait in line with foriegners. I want a citizens only line and they better only speak, write, and read English.
If your speaking something other than that... why you must not be a US citizen because every US citizen knows that true US citizens only speak English. It's a fact.
If you are bilingual... chances are someone in your family just immigrated to this country and you will never be treated as an equal until you leave that part of your life behind.
You can be cool and all back of the bus and stuff by being bilingual but... if you want to fit in, if you want to be like the rest of us, if you want to be a true American, make it a point to speak only English. More doors will open up for you.

Why? because of the fact agencies want to marketplace to as many human beings as plausible, and conversing the rustic's 2d maximum general language is unquestionably going to widen their customer base. merely be grateful which you do not pay attention Spanish press a million and English press 2, or worse yet, the whole message in Spanish. for my section, i think of that Spanish conversing human beings have the main suitable to talk their interior sight tongue, and it will probably be completely as much as them to talk English (or not) in the event that they so choose. i think of this is the main suitable united states partly through huge sort of cultures and mix of persons residing right here. I walk down the line of NYC and can right here 0.5 a dozen distinctive languages interior a pair blocks. To me, this variety is marvelous! residing in this united states shouldn't recommend that those distinctive cultures ought to ought to regulate to ours, it would recommend that they have the liberty to stay as they choose.

I like neither, but if I really had to choose, I would rather just hear, press one for english and nothing for the rest. They should just know they have to push 2. haha! Seriously though, if romantic languages are supposed to be beautiful, i don't see it with spanish. I would rather have somebody rub my eardrums with sandpaper.

I don't like numeric-menus period. I don't care what languages they are in.
Unless I'm specially calling for an automated service, when I use a phone I want to talk to a person.
