I've maintained for years that Tony Stewart is the best self motivator Nascar has ever seen.He will rip teammates,media,other drivers and Nascar as a whole.In his quest to light a fire under himself.He's great at it,But heres the rub,while Tony can afford the fine and points Nascar will undoubtably hand out soon and it won't bother him at all.What happens when the chase begins and losing points will bother him,whats he going to do to motivate himself? Can Tony win without the chaos he invokes? I have my doubts,whats your take?

Charlie, excellent point. I agree with most of it. He does indeed light a fire under himself and in his fans as well. But once he gets it going, which it is, I don't see it burning out any time soon. He is on a roll, as he has been before. After all, he has won the championship before. He has also proven more than once, he is hot during the 2nd half of the season. I think he's got a good shot at the title this year (wish it was Jr.). He has stirred up enough chaos to keep him in the media for a while. He doesn't need to stir "outside the box" anymore to keep things going. Watch him win the next one or two more in row. GO FOR IT TONY!!!

I really dont understand the compunction to always attack smoke and overlook the words and deeds of others, harvick said a bad word and no one cares, smoke on the other hand becomes once again the poster boy of bad behavior...go Smoke...btw I am a Kenseth fan!

First Rob isn't warm. and 2d paparazzi might desire to flow away all and sundry on my own not in undemanding terms them, i think of being a paparazzi is one in all the backside jobs you have got. it is so impolite what they do to any celebrities and how they attempt to get the worst plausible image so as that they might sell funds and get in some stupid gossip mag for tens of millions of human beings to study and choose. i think of we'd desire to constantly all end procuring thoughs stupid magazines.

When the chips are on the table, I'm sure Tony will keep his trap shut and be on his best behavior. He wants to win and I believe he is disciplined enough to do what he has to do to make that happen.

Tony is cut out of the same mold that the "ironman drivers" of the 60's and 70's.Drivers such as Curtis Turner,Darrell Derringer,or even Bobby Allison,these were vocal drivers and backed their words.
