If so, why do fundamentalists protest such prayers

If we want freedom of religion, and prayer in schools and public places, etc... do we not have to allow all prayers from all faiths?
-Fundamentalist Christians who want prayer in schools...do you want your child reciting a Hindu prayer? Or prayer of another faith?
-Should we not have separation of church and state? Public schools, public meetings be secular...and religious services be, well...religious?
