Do Americans appear that shallow and stupid to you?
You do realize that we've held a grudge against Iran for the last 30 years or so, after they stormed our embassy (which, by international law is sovereign US territory) and held our people hostage?
That may be a BS reason in and of itself (and yes, there's much much more reasoning behind the possibility of using military force against Iran), but it's light years better than "Iran sounds like Iraq".

Probably a matter of perception on your part. You presumably believe that Americans are stupid (many of them are, but not all), and completely ignorant of geography (even more than are merely stupid, but, again, not all), and, of course evil warmongers (most, in fact, aren't, though they may well constitute a substantial minority).
Most Americans - some 70% or so - are tired of the invasion of Iraq, and probably wouldn't care to invade another country right away.

You are probably not far off target.
Some moron on a different message board said we had to attack Iran before their leadership (Shi'ites) gave a nuke to Al-Qaida (Sunnis) for use in the US.
