It's a valid question. The answer is that they shouldn't, and it's hypocritical to do so. Personally I'm staying put!

Because people love to moan. But they don't really care enough to act on it.

I think its all a load of nonsense anyway. So, I will enjoy my holiday abroad.

If UK reduced it's carbon emissions to zero it would make a 2% ddifference. That is asking the impossible and in any case global warming is a fact and will happen whether we reduce emissions or not.

I don't see what one has to do with the other because people traveling is not the biggest problem.
SUVs, trucks, polluting factories, wastefulness, etc. cause more damage. If people stopped traveling then I don't think global warming would be stopped or even halted.

We don't have to stop doing things to fight global warming.

Just like Al Gore, we can buy credits, do our normal thing without any inconveniences, and legislate that the other guy has to do the dirty work.
