I was wondering if anyone knows of a website where job hunters can go to see how a certain company rates with it's own employees. I came across one the other day but, of course, i can't find it now.

Thanks in advance!

The premier publication is the Fortune 100: Best Companies to Work for. They do this once a year and the survey is conducted by the Great Place to Work institute... http://www.greatplacetowork.com/

For 2007:
Best Places to Work in the USA
http://www.greatplacetowork.com/best/list-sme-2007.htm

Best Small & Medium Size Companies http://www.greatplacetowork.com/best/list-sme-2007.htm

cnn.com, money.com, careerjournal.com all will usually have links to this information as well as additional information on major employers.

Something to keep in mind that employer participation in these surveys is voluntary. There are plenty of employers who do not participate and never will - that doesn't mean they are bad just by virtue of not finding them in these surveys, but it doesn't mean they are the cream of the crop either.

The interview/hiring process is subjective on both sides of the fence (yours and the employers) and unfortunately a crap shoot at times...

Yes, that information is available once a year.
I forget which publication, I think, the publication "Inc." posts it or another similar financial publication.
