I believe it was all removed because certain someones couldnt deal with the fact they may come back as a pauper. but I think the answers are in the missing scriptures, not so much the existing ones. although anything in the bible that suggests its not true can also be interpreted as it is true too. Its all in how you look at it.

EDIT - sure would explain why some children die "saved" and others live in the ghetto until they're 80 "unsaved". This may be why so many today see God as unfair.

Kayne - It is not necessarily anti-christian, there are some christian churches that believe in reincarnation. Also, Hebrews 9:27, which states that it is appointed to man to die once, and after that face judgment. This verse does not, by itself, rule out reincarnation. yes, you can only physically die once. and judgment for the purpose of learning, not condemning..but why not then try again. Doesnt say one judgment, just one death. Maybe if it read it is appointed to die and face judgment once, I might not be able to argue it. seems the more time progresses the more symbolic the bible becomes, why is that.

Jesus Christ is likewise common as Christ or Messiah Incarnate. Reincarnation appeared to end after 9 lives cat nutrition sales have been decreased. All joking aside >> There quite is not any style of reincarnation. Resurection of righteous human beings achieved by using the main prophets alongside with Messiah Yahshua/Jesus Christ appear as if reincarnation. to assert existence is recycled like waste or organic and organic aspects isn't a biblical concept. The enemy of the gospel has some skill to misinform the choose of God with mendacity signs and indications and wonders from seen and different constrained supernatural ability. this would not advise that those in Christ are deceived completely. they may be for a while yet as God exhibits the enemies deceptions and trickery spirits that imitate the ineffective, till God helps it are nonetheless no longer reincarnated. If the resurection of the in basic terms and unjust in a latter time the place Messiah will settle on in a resurected physique. So in essence it is like reincarnation yet no longer in a Hindu like exemplification. Jesus Christ himself reported." i'm the rsurection and the existence; he that believeth in me, however he have been ineffective, yet shall he stay"

While Moses "died" the contention of Satan for his body was not successful. Moses did not taste death as you and I would have before Calvary; was not held in prison. Elijah, you may recall, was translated and did not see death. Both men were present at the transfiguration. So where is the reincarnation?

The poorest students of Scripture should be able to see that the Lord was here four times before he took on the body he had prepared to become our salvation; His fifth appearance being five, the number of perfect grace.

Note these are not beings coming back without knowledge of past lives; but the same beings bringing back the same anointing. They were not here to work out karma; but to carry those anointings which literally move time forward to its conclusion.

Both men come back to preach in Egypt, which is Jerusalem where our Lord was crucified. At that time both will finally die; slain only to rise again. Note that none of these events violate Scripture which says; it is appointed unto men once to die and then the judgment.

There is another answer here which explains John the Baptist. Finally consider the Prodigal Son. He was a son before he was a prodigal. You cannot celebrate, redeem or save a prodigal; who was not a son to begin with. Demons speak to people of past lives and the elect of God have a past life, hidden from them, and an entry in the Lamb's Book of Life.

As with the Prodigal Son; God waits and looks to restoration for those who repent. His plan is salvation not recidivism. His berthern is easy and his yoke is the light.

Reincarnation is anti-christian. John the Baptist was just Elijah symbolically.

The bible says, "It is appointed for man to die once, then comes judgement."

I agree with the folks who KNOW that ALL references to DOGMAS that are against the powers that be of the church hierachies, have been removed to save having to answer embarrassing questions. The bible is little more than a total whitewash that is left over after ALL the offending material has been removed.

I think that the Christians are afraid of the word "reincarnation" because it sounds kind of like something pagan or Hindu and decidedly non-Christian, so they will resort to some fancy double talk here, either by denying it or saying read the bible again young man(!) or saying it was really something else...blah blah blah...

Those Christians like to keep their religion sparkling white!

Independent theologians generally agree that references to reincarnation were removed from those documents that ended up in the bible. And you are right the fool who did the editing missed that one.

Jesus said (and if you actually read the Bible you'd know) that John came in the spirit and power of Elijah, not that he was Elijah reincarnated.Read it before you sit in judgment on it.

When the disciples saw a blind man they asked Jesus" O master what has this man done that he has been BORN blind?"
