honestly, i'm really scared over it, then thought, why, whats the point?

It's no different than a bully down the street or at school that won't leave you alone, the bully is always there and always waiting. The bully does not want you to have peace the bully wants to have power over you so he keeps you frightened so you will always do what he wants. The only way to stop a bully is to kick there butt till they understand that you won't put up with their crap and then the bully goes away and then you can have some measure of peace but you always have to keep an eye out because some bullies don't ever give up. The point is to gain peace, we did not start this war but we will finish it.

The point of war is to keep all the frigging nuts in the world from dominating you . For some reason there are some people who think that you should do and be what they say. Some think they are Gods or next to Gods and then you have the followers that follow them wishing to do harm to you and your loved ones if you do not do the things they wish for you to do . Things like have sex with them kill for them slave for them and many many more things that is against your will . In this screwed up world you have to fight to be free it isn't handed to you like most people think that are free . Somewhere down the line somebody died for your freedom my father did in world war 2 . Some times its just one person you have to fight and sometimes its entire nations . The good and evil . That has been going on before man was created .It all started with God and the devil . Guess we all have to make our choice like it or not.

Unfortunately, there are people in the world who want what you have or don't want you to have what you have or behave the way you do. The latest threat is Islamists. If you don't mind wearing a scarf over your face for the rest of your life and being treated like a second class citizen than war wouldn't make sense to you. There is no real point for you to worry. War is largely fought by men who volunteer for it, at least in the US.

War is the final and ultimate way to settle a disagreement. Since people will probably never totally agree on things you can pretty much bet there will always be wars. People will always want what they don't have and if you are not prepared to defend whatever it may be someone will try to take it.
If you want peace... you must Prepare for War

i love people who wouldnt accept war unless its defending their country.
From what i can tell these people would look over and see their neighbor being sexually assulted on the neighbors property and wouldnt do anything becuase well it not their property and people off their property dont deserve defending.
This kind of comment comes from someone who has never been to a country where suffering is an everyday thing like darfur or rawanda or the congo, or iraq for that matter all these places had and have people being tourtured. according to their way of thinking we should turn a blind eye to it well becuase they were not born on our soil.
What good is it being a super power if you can use it for anything but obtianing the title of being the most pampered country in the world.
As a super power we should help out these people and when you deal with people who commit genocide pretty please doesnt work

If they were here u would not have a choice. The family dog is in a better position than there woman. So if u do not believe in there God it is simple they don't even want U as a slave. They will cut off your head. Now is your life fighting for.

People will say 'No its RELIGION', but they are wrong. The main reason will be that they want the land for their own religious group.

If we don't they will get stronger and stronger, then they 'will' bring the war to us. Have you not seen them training children to martyr themselves? Islamic priest were arguing on weather or not women can be martyrs; One side said that yes they have the right, the other said no, they need to get married, and have children that can kill themselves. I kid you not.
