not with a flood, he said he wouldn't, but it might happen another way, most likely fire since that is what it says in the bible.

I am putting this in the form of a lovely bible story...

And then God said to Noah, "Look up in the sky."

Noah looked up. The storm clouds were drifting away, the bright sun was shining against Noah's back. And against the dark grey sky, God made a brilliant rainbow appear. God said to Noah,

“You see, I have set my rainbow in the sky. This will be the sign of the covenant I have made with you and all creatures, never again to destroy the earth by a flood. It will always remind us of the promise between you and me.”

So, the next time you see a rainbow, think of Noah and the flood. Remember that God loves you, and that no matter how bad the storm, there will always come a bright new day.

That is God's promise, and God always keeps his promises

The god of the xians promised to never flood the planet again and made rainbows to remind himself of that promise. What kind of diety has to make a reminder not to destroy an entire species? We, as advanced man, need to start doing something regarding population control. Either loosen abortion regulations or start practicing mandatory birth control. We are beginning to over-populate and ocer pollute our planet. WE need to do something about that because there is no mystical sky daddy that will clean our messes up for us.

Hmm... this sounds like MAtrix.

The Architect: Please. As I was saying, she stumbled upon a solution whereby nearly 99% of the test subjects accepted the program provided they were given a choice - even if they were only aware of it at a near-unconscious level. While this solution worked, it was fundamentally flawed, creating the otherwise contradictory systemic anomaly, that, if left unchecked, might threaten the system itself. Ergo, those who refused the program, while a minority, if unchecked, would constitute an escalating probability of disaster.

Neo: This is about Zion.

The Architect: You are here because Zion is about to be destroyed. Its every living inhabitant terminated, its entire existence eradicated.

Neo: Bullshit.

TV Monitors: Bullshit!

The Architect: Denial is the most predictable of all human responses. But, rest assured, this will be the sixth time we have destroyed it, and we have become exceedingly efficient at it.

Gen 9:15 And I will remember My covenant which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall NO MORE become a flood to destroy all flesh.

He already promised He wouldn't do it again and set the rainbow in the cloud as a token of that promise.

God promised that he would never again destroy the earth with a flood (Gen 9:15)
But he will destroy all wicked mankind again, just not by a flood. (Ps 37:20)

If you hyperthetically (sic) assume that it happened, you also have to assume that God meant it when he said he wouldn't do it by flood, again.

It's probably way passed due, but after He did it the first time He said He'd never do it again. So I wouldn't hold my breathe.
