It is a Toshiba Satellie R15 S829. 80 GB Microsoft WIndows XP Tablet Edition...I'm just wondering whether my laptop will decide to crash---or run slower than usual...thanks!

i doubt it will .. u could try it with all the games video options on lowest and see .. shouldnt hurt anything ...

It all depends on your processor, RAM, and graphics processor. If you computer has its own graphics card of some sort.

800 MHz processor or better
256 MB RAM if Windows Vista, XP, Windows ME, Windows 98 or Windows 2000
At least 3.5 GB of hard drive space

And if it doesn't and you're using an integrated graphics chip..

well you're going to need a processor with at least 2.0ghz and more ram would be better. Just check your computer for what it has and compare it with these stats. I believe almost anything can run the sims 2 with low settings nowadays.

Your laptop won't crash, but Sims 2 takes up a TON of space. I wouldn't recommend downloading it because when you play the game, it will go very slow and will take away from your gaming experience. Although, I would install it and run it. See how you like it and if it is too slow for you, than uninstall it.

Hello, Your laptop should be fine for such a game, It is more CPU Instinctive than anything, and my brothers 5 year old computer plays the games fine.

it has intergrated graphics. it might run, but the computer will overheat and prbly crash. here is a lite version of the sims 2 designed for laptops w/ integrated graphics.

it will run slow if you even have enofe room to run it sense it is such a big program it will be hard to put it on there and not have it run slow
