It says that AUDI (the car) stands for "Accelerates Under Demonic Influence". We were considering an AUDI for our next car! Should we reconsider?

It's very true. We (my husband and I) rented an Audi A3 at one point, and that car DEFINITELY accelerated like it was influenced by demons.

Well if you are using that as an excuse not to an AUDI then don't buy a ford( found on road dead). That is all just some crap that a person came up with that had a little extra time on thier hands. Thats like people saying " If you mix up the letters in Santa you get satan". Buy the car and don't believe everything you hear.

AUDI is what the old Auto Union company was in Germany many years ago. Audi is Latin for the word, Hark, which in german is Horch, coincidentally the last name of one of the founders of Audi. Because he had sold an earlier company bearing his name, he was unable to use it for the new car company. Someone clever came up with the Latin equvalent. (his son who was a student at the time, or so the story goes.)

Go ahead and buy it with no worries!

Now, if you find one that runs on demon power, I want one. No more fuel bills! My brother had an Audi once. Took off on its own. I'd say it accelerated under demonic influence. LOL

Audi is the Latin equivalent of Hark in English, which is Horch in German. August Horch was the engineer who founded Audi.

Oh definatly. It's made by the German's for pete's sake! They're all just a bunch of sneeky tricksters, I wouldn't be suprised if they were demon possessed. No, only Dodge can be trusted. At least they admit their cars are evil, as they're comming out with the Dodge Demon in 08'.

Come on now, do not let that silly email worry you. Just make sure that the car you are looking into has good rating according to Consumer Reports

What if I can't afford a demon car? Would a car that is named after a Pagan god do? A Saturn?
