What's the difference from a Maltese and a Yorkie????

Yorkies are a little more hipper, they are very smart, not calm, and they both own a long coat, but Maltese have fur, Yorkies have hair, Maltese have White fur, Yorkies have black and golden hair, they are both good dogs and cute, but i kind of prefer yorkies.

PS: Dog owner of two a yorkie and a schnauzer, love them both.

A maltese is a small dog with curly white fur. A Yorkie is a small dog with black and tan fur that is straight and usually long unless it is groomed to stay short. Maltese always are white. They can get a little bigger than a yourkie also. Yorkies are usually some combo of brownish tan, black, or a kind of silvery color. Yorkies are usually pretty light weight usually 3 to 4 lbs tops. Both of them have long coats that require a lot of grooming or to be kept cut. Personality wise they are pretty freindly and perky.
