A small insect flew into my eye yesterday and I got him out but today my eye is very red and irritated. How can I best get rid of the redness? I know Visine gets the red out but is that the best thing to use?

It's best to let your eyes return to normal naturally. Visine is horrible for the eyes. Two eye docs told me never to use that.

Eating less junk food and eating a healthy balanced diet does help make everything in your body function better and go in order. If you eat a lot of junk food and nothing healthy chances are you will have acne. So if you did notice less acne from sodas then don't drink them often because that is what triggers yours. I'm not saying water did the trick but drinking lots of water does flush out your bodies system of all the toxens. This is proven once a day with your pee being like water or a very very very very light and pale yellow.

go to the bathroom sink. run water slowly and put the eye by the spicket and let water run through the eye and let it wash it out. there are ice cups small ones for cleaning eyes but i am not sure you have one this helps and it it couple times and it should take care of it unless there is more of the bug in your eye. alos pull eye lid way over the eye when you are done after the water is stopped

Yes. If that doesn't help the irritation, call your pharmacist. Or better yet, just ask a pharmacist while you're at the drug store. They know more about that stuff than most doctors. Good luck with your law career. :)
